Position Summary
The Senior Analyst Revenue Forecasting and Data Analytics reports revenue to internal JetBlue leadership and answers complex revenue questions with data. The Sr. Analyst will provide enhancements to improve revenue reporting and forecasting accuracy. In addition, the Sr. Analyst will present analysis and ad hoc reporting to leadership.
Essential Responsibilities
- Monitor daily revenue and booking trends and adjusts the revenue forecast appropriately
- Develops dashboards for use within our team and other teams. Solicits feedback from dashboard users and incorporates it as needed
- Has a deep understanding our data structure and is able to answer ad hoc questions with little manager guidance
- Develops reporting for other teams at JetBlue and works with them to ensure reports meet their needs
- Able to lead data improvement projects working with other teams
- Monitors revenue and booking trends and adjusts revenue forecast appropriately
- Perform ad hoc analysis and makes recommendations in support of revenue initiatives
- Provide direct support to leadership requests
- Other duties as assigned
Minimum Experience and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Mathematics, Statistics or relevant field; OR demonstrated capability to perform job responsibilities with the combination of a High School Diploma/GED and at least four (4) years of previous relevant work experience
- Three (3) years of analytical or quantitative experience
- Fluent in SQL coding language
- Excellent analytical skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Experience with analyzing Big Data
- Experience in array of analysis tools (i.e. Access, Excel, SQL)
- Experience with Tableau or other data visualization tools
- Ability to learn new computer programs and applications
- Available for occasional overnight travel (10%)
- Must pass a pre-employment drug test
- Must be legally eligible to work in the country in which the position is located
- Authorization to work in the US is required, this position is not eligible for visa sponsorship
Preferred Experience and Qualifications
- Experience within airline industry
- Five (5) years of modeling, forecasting, and analysis experience
- Full understanding of Tableau software

- Potential need to work flexible hours and be available to respond on short-notice
- Able to maintain a professional appearance
- When working or traveling on JetBlue flights, and if time permits, all capable crewmembers are asked to assist with light cleaning of the aircraft

Compensation:
- The base pay range for this position is between $64,000.00 and $103,100.00 per year. Base pay is one component of JetBlue’s total compensation package, which may also include access to healthcare benefits, a 401(k) plan and company match, crewmember stock purchase plan, short-term and long-term disability coverage, basic life insurance, free space available travel on JetBlue, and more.)
