The Lead, Paisly Marketing and Advertising supports JetBlue Travel Products’ Head of Marketing with a wide range of initiatives that aim to drive qualified leads for Paisly. The ideal candidate is motivated, energetic, enjoys testing creative and media strategies across a wide range of channels, and using data to optimize our strategies. Day-to-day responsibilities will include managing and executing Paisly’s marketing and advertising both in-house (SEM (search engine marketing), paid social) and through our agency (display, CTV, etc). The candidate of choice is analytical, creative, organized, communicative, a fast learner, and takes ownership of the tasks they’re given. This role has one direct report who supports these efforts.
Essential Responsibilities
- Responsible for generating new leads to Paisly.
- Responsible for managing Paisly’s marketing and advertising budget.
- Use data and reporting to identify traffic, search and conversion trends to inform strategic decisions and optimize our marketing and advertising efforts.
- Present performance data and identify areas of opportunity to leadership on a regular basis.
- Manage Paisly’s owned channels, including but not limited to paisly.com content, Paisly content on jetblue.com, and Paisly’s email marketing.
- Create, execute and monitor performance of Paisly promotions and sales.
- Manage our in-house SEM (search engine marketing) and paid social accounts, including but not limited to creating new ad groups and monitoring performance in-platform on a daily basis.
- Day-to-day management of our Agency of Record; brief creation, project management, creative and media oversight.
- Create thoughtful and thorough briefs for the creative team to support Paisly marketing initiatives.
- Conduct customer research (ie. listening to calls, surveys, focus groups) to further understand Paisly’s customers.
- Collaborate closely with JTP’s Technology team on cross-functional projects to ensure we find solutions that both put the customer first and are technologically feasible.
- Work closely with the JetBlue Legal team to ensure all marketing and customer experience is compliant.
- Collaborate closely with Paisly Commercial team to satisfy business partner marketing needs, promotion strategy, merchandising and more.
- Collaborate closely with JetBlue’s marketing team to participate in their broader marketing efforts and secure placements for Paisly within the JetBlue digital ecosystem.
- Communicate and collaborate directly with key business partners as needed for ad-hoc cooperative projects to ensure goals are aligned and being met.
- Drive awareness, adoption and revenue for Paisly through other initiatives including ad-hoc sponsorships and activations.
- Other complex projects and duties as assigned.
Minimum Experience and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in a related field; OR demonstrated capability to perform job responsibilities with a combination of a High School Diploma/GED and at least four (4) years of previous relevant work experience.
- Three (3) years of supervisory experience.
- Proficient with Excel or Google Sheets.
- Comfortable presenting ideas in front of large groups including leadership.
- Basic SEO (search engine optimization), Microdata formats, CMS (content management system), and Photoshop/Adobe Suite knowledge.
- Ability to manage and work within budgets.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to act as a meticulously organized, self-directed, and creative problem solver that meets aggressive deadlines by following processes/procedures.
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with project management.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Excellent at proofing written and visual creative concepts before B2C launch.
- Available for occasional overnight travel (20%).
- Comfortable working cross functionally with internal and external stakeholders.
- Must pass a ten (10) year background check.
- Must be legally eligible to work in the country in which the position is located.
- Authorization to work in the US is required. This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship.
Preferred Experience and Qualifications
- Basic understanding of JavaScript.
- Ability to troubleshoot and debug complex website markup.
- Knowledge of HTML.

- Able to maintain a professional appearance.
- When working or traveling on JetBlue flights, and if time permits, all capable crewmembers are asked to assist with light cleaning of the aircraft.
