Position Summary:

The Manager Revenue Business Intelligence supports and drives the analytical needs of the Revenue Management and wider Commercial organization. The team reports out both internally and externally on the holistic revenue health of the company. The Manager oversees answering challenging revenue questions using data and strong analytical skills to provide answers and recommendations. The Manager will also develop dashboards, key performance indicators (KPIs) and reports to measure effectiveness of revenue generation and track initiatives. Finally, the Manager cultivates the development of their Crewmembers’ skillsets/analytical prowess and manages relationships with other internal teams and business partners.

 

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Be a key revenue storyteller by preparing and/or presenting performance trends on a regular basis to leadership
  • Curate regularly cadenced Exec level reporting dashboards that meet the needs of the targeted audiences
  • Collaborate with other Revenue Management and Commercial leaders to drive incremental revenue
  • Perform ad hoc analysis and create models to make robust recommendations in support of revenue initiatives as well as monitor and iterate once launched
  • Manage relationships with business partners that are critical for Revenue Management data and processes
  • Oversee submission of critical reports to external business partners such as the Department of Transportation (DOT) and Airlines for America (A4A)
  • Take a significant role in the development of Crewmembers to support their engagement, growth, and goal achievement   
  • Other duties as assigned

 

Minimum Experience and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, Economics or related field; OR demonstrated capability to perform job responsibilities with a High School Diploma/GED and at least four (4) years of previous relevant work experience
  • Five (5) years of analytical or quantitative experience
  • Two (2) years of Revenue Management and/or Revenue Analysis experience
  • Ability to think critically while utilizing complex data sets to drive clear recommendations and insights
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office suite especially Excel
  • Working knowledge of structured query language (SQL) and relational databases
  • Ability to multi-task, work under tight deadlines and produce error-free work
  • Available for occasional overnight travel (10%)
  • Must pass a pre-employment drug test
  • Must be legally eligible to work in the country in which the position is located
  • Authorization to work in the US is required. This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship

 

Preferred Experience and Qualifications:

  • Implementing advanced statistical models and forecasts
  • Full understanding of the Tableau or like business intelligence tool
  • Strong track record of communicating insights to leadership
  • Experience using programming language to extract large datasets

  • Regular attendance and punctuality
  • Potential need to work flexible hours and be available to respond on short-notice
  • Able to maintain a professional appearance
  • When working or traveling on JetBlue flights, and if time permits, all capable crewmembers are asked to assist with light cleaning of the aircraft

  • Must fulfill safety accountabilities as prescribed by JetBlue’s Safety Management System

  • Identify safety and security concerns, issues, incidents or hazards that should be reported and report them whenever possible and by any means necessary including JetBlue’s confidential reporting systems (Aviation Safety Action Program (ASAP) or Safety Action Report (SAR))
  • Responsible for adhering to all applicable laws, regulations (FAA, OSHA, DOT, etc.) and Company policies, procedures and risk controls 
  • Uphold JetBlue’s safety performance metric goals and understand how they relate to their duties and responsibilities
  • The use of ChatGPT or any other automated tool during the interview process will disqualify a candidate from being considered for the position.

Compensation: 

  • The base pay range for this position is between $114,000.00 and $170,000.00 per year. Base pay is one component of JetBlue’s total compensation package, which may also include performance bonuses, restricted stock units, as well as access to healthcare benefits, a 401(k) plan and company match, crewmember stock purchase plan, short-term and long-term disability coverage, basic life insurance, free space available travel on JetBlue, and more.
