Position Title: Assistant Administrative (TPA)
Position Summary
The Assistant Administrative provides support to the Airport Director and/or General Manager(s) assisting in daily office needs and managing the station general administrative functions.
Essential Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support to the station Director and/or General Manager(s); including calendar management, processing of mail, e-mail management, calls, processing expense reports, and preparing communications on their behalf
- Coordinate company events including but not limited to TLC, Pocket Sessions, Values Committee and special events. These items may require the following responsibilities: workgroup coordination, communication, visitor passes, and catering
- Take notes and maintain minutes at meetings
- Ensure minimum stock of office supplies at all times, and manage restocking of supplies based on station budget
- Maintain crewmember station files and relevant transportation passes
- Act as back up support for payroll, attendance tracking, as needed
- Process any cash collected at the station complying with the Cash Management Policy (station specific)
- Assist with station and departmental audits
- Other duties as assigned
Minimum Experience and Qualifications
- High School Diploma or General Education Development (GED) Diploma
- One (1) year of experience as an Administrative Assistant or Office Manager
- Proficient with Microsoft Office suite
- Strong attention to detail
- Available for overnight travel (10%)
- Must pass a ten (10) year background check and pre-employment drug test
- Must be legally eligible to work in the country in which the position is located
- Authorization to work in the US is required. This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship
- For internal candidates, good standing in attendance performance and safety

- When working or traveling on JetBlue flights, and if time permits, all capable crewmembers are asked to assist with light cleaning of the aircraft

- Identify safety and/or security concerns, issues, incidents, or hazards that should be reported and report them whenever possible and by any means necessary including JetBlue’s confidential reporting systems (Aviation Safety Action Program (ASAP) or Safety Action Report (SAR))
