Title:  Coordinator Recovery CEX Ops Center

Position Summary 

The Coordinator Recovery will work closely with Airports and System Operations to ensure Customer recovery due to flight disruptions. The Coordinator will also assist in alternative rebooking options, manage the Flight Compensation Manager program and process other airline reprotection.  

 

Essential Responsibilities 

  • Real Time Recovery contact – working with Airports and System Operations to assist with Customer recovery 

  • Determine Customer demeanor on impacted flight 

  • Determine compensation amounts if any to issue 

  • Assisting in alternative rebooking options such as car transportation and hotel issuance 

  • Manage Flight Compensation Manager program which includes entering service credits and monitoring progress to completion  

  • Process OAL reprotection 

  • Execute internal watch list every two (2) hours  

  • Other duties as assigned   

 

Minimum Experience and Qualifications 

  • High School Diploma or General Education Development (GED) Diploma 

  • Two (2) year Customer Service experience  

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills 

  • Strong organization and management skills 

  • Ability to think creatively and to work under pressure in a team environment 

  • Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment 

  • Highly organized and focused with the ability to prioritize tasks  

  • Ability to work flexible work schedule to cover the operation 24 hours per day, 7 days per week 

  • Able to pass a ten (10) year background check and pre-employment drug test 

  • Legally eligible to work in the country in which the position is located  

 

Preferred Experience and Qualifications 

  • Application knowledge in: Sabre Reaccom Manager, Microsoft Office Suite and Flight Compensation Manager 

 

Crewmember Expectations:  

  • Regular attendance and punctuality  

  • Potential need to work flexible hours and be available to respond on short-notice 

  • Well groomed and able to maintain a professional appearance 

  • When working or traveling on JetBlue flights, and if time permits, all capable crewmembers are asked to assist with light cleaning of the aircraft

  • Identify safety concerns, issues, incidents or hazards that should be reported and report them whenever possible and by any means necessary including JetBlue’s confidential reporting systems (Aviation Safety Action Program (ASAP) or Safety Action Report(SAR))
