Title:  Analyst Revenue Protection & Analysis

Position Summary

The Analyst supports the Revenue Protection and Analysis team by reporting and analyzing data related to missed revenue opportunities, including fee collection and lost ancillary revenue in the Airports and Customer Support workgroups. The Analyst reports incidents and trends to Leadership in Finance, Airports, and Customer Support, and supports Crewleaders with communication and coaching to maximize revenue opportunities.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Develop and design all report spreadsheets and statistics for revenue protection and analysis and provide these reports to Finance/ Fraud leadership
  • Track and analyze missed revenue opportunities, such as fee collection
  • Provide presentation of feedback through email reports, PowerPoint, or other resources
  • Provide support to other departments that pertain to Revenue Protection and Analysis and supporting Crewleaders as they coach Crewmembers in situations of lost revenue
  • Coordinate with the data warehousing group in Information Technology (IT) to gather information representing Customer Support, Airports, and Finance issues
  • Compile monthly report for senior leadership detailing lost revenue and lost ancillary revenue trends and data
  • Act as a liaison with Leadership in Customer Support, Airports, and Finance to communicate and enforce appropriate usage of the available functions during irregular operations
  • Maintain and support databases that collect information for revenue protection and missed revenue opportunities
  • Other duties as assigned

Minimum Experience and Qualifications

  • High School or General Education Development (GED) Diploma
  • One (1) year of related experience analyzing data, using reporting tools, and database functionality
  • Proficient with the  Microsoft Office suite, Outlook and Explorer
  • Experience with reporting tools and SQL
  • Must pass a ten (10) year background check and pre-employment drug test
  • Must be legally eligible to work in the country in which the position is located

Preferred Experience and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related discipline
  • Proficient in Sabre
  • Knowledge and understanding of Snowflake/DW schema
  • Able to work independently and in a team environment
  • Excellent organizational, telephone, written and verbal communication skills
  • Highly motivated self-starter with the ability to multi-task and issue progress reports
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Effective research skills including the ability to analyze information and make determinations in accordance with Company guidelines
