Title: Gateway University Program - Tech Ops
Orlando, FL, US, 32827

Program Overview:
Gateway University is a talent pathway for those seeking to become maintenance technicians at JetBlue. This Gateway creates a pathway for students at one of JetBlue's partner schools to apply for and, if successful, earn a conditional job offer that will allow them to join JetBlue as a maintenance technician once they have completed the required training/education and have earned their Aircraft and Powerplant (A&P) certificate. At that time, graduates will go through the same orientation and training program that all new hire maintenance technicians complete.
Gateway University-Tech Ops has the following training/experience-building framework
- If selected, the candidate will receive a conditional job offer (CJO) and must sign a letter of agreement stating that they understand the conditions and stipulations of the job offer.
- The candidate will be assigned a mentor for the duration of the program and will also have continued communication with the Gateway team as their main point of contact.
- Complete training program at partner school
- Earn A&P Certificate
Once the Gateway candidate has achieved the qualifications necessary to become a JetBlue Aircraft Maintenance Technician, the Gateway candidate must apply for a current opening and complete pre-employment testing, background check, and verification of the FAA Airframe and Powerplant certificates. Once completed successfully, the Gateway candidate will be given a class date to begin new hire training as an Aircraft Maintenance Technician.
