Position Summary
The Senior Project Manager, Culture & Engagement leads planning, coordination, and execution of initiatives that strengthen JetBlue’s culture and enhance the end-to-end Crewmember experience. Reporting to the Senior Manager, Culture & Crewmember Experience, this role drives cross-functional projects that elevate engagement, recognition, workplace relationships, values integration, and signature crewmember moments. The Senior Project Manager partners with operational teams and support center workgroups to deliver consistent, scalable solutions aligned with JetBlue’s values and culture strategy. The role blends project management discipline, process improvement, stakeholder engagement, and strong storytelling to bring programs to life that inspire Crewmembers and reinforce JetBlue’s culture.
Essential Responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of culture and crewmember experience projects with clear timelines, milestones, and deliverables.
- Execute the culture and engagement strategy by driving project plans that align with company priorities.
- Partner with Values Committees, operational leaders, and support center teams to deliver programs and recognition moments.
- Own cross-functional workstreams, managing scope, risks, budgets, schedules, and stakeholder expectations.
- Translate cultural insights, engagement data, and frontline feedback into practical project actions and recommendations.
- Lead scaling and localization of culture initiatives across airports, support center groups, and operational teams.
- Manage the design and delivery of recognition programs and signature moments across the Crewmember lifecycle.
- Develop project communication plans with Corporate Communications and Marketing to support visibility and engagement.
- Facilitate meetings, workshops, listening sessions, and focus groups to gather input and advance project outcomes.
- Build project plans, documentation, business cases, and metrics, and maintain dashboards and reporting for leadership visibility.
- Support crisis-response cultural efforts as needed.
- Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Experience and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree OR demonstrated capability to perform responsibilities with a High School Diploma/GED and at least four (4) years of relevant experience.
- Three (3) years of experience in project management or related field.
- Experience leading cross-functional projects with multiple stakeholders.
- Strong understanding of project planning methodologies and tools.
- Demonstrated organizational skills with the ability to plan, prioritize, and execute under tight timelines.
- Self-starter able to work independently with urgency, attention to detail, and passion for the work.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including facilitation and presentation.
- Proficient at analyzing data, interpreting insights, and translating them into practical project recommendations.
- Ability to work flexible hours and be available for emergency response on short notice for unplanned events, including incident and crisis response.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.
- Available for overnight travel as needed (30%).
- In possession of valid travel documents and the ability to travel in and out of the United States.
- Must pass a pre-employment drug test.
- Must be legally eligible to work in the country in which the position is located.
- Authorization to work in the US is required. This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship.
Preferred Experience and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree.
- Experience with culture or employee relations in airline or operations environments.
- Experience executing large-scale engagement initiatives.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
Crewmember Expectations:
- Regular attendance and punctuality.
- Potential need to work flexible hours and be available to respond on short-notice.
- Able to maintain a professional appearance.
- When working or traveling on JetBlue flights, and if time permits, all capable crewmembers are asked to assist with light cleaning of the aircraft.
- Must be an appropriate organizational fit for the JetBlue culture, that is, exhibit the JetBlue values of Safety, Caring, Integrity, Passion and Fun.
- Must fulfill safety accountabilities as prescribed by JetBlue’s Safety Management System.
- Promote JetBlue’s #1 value of safety as a Safety Ambassador, supporting JetBlue’s Safety Management System (SMS) components, Safety Policy and behavioral standards.
- Identify safety concerns, issues, incidents or hazards that should be reported and report them whenever possible and by any means necessary including JetBlue’s confidential reporting systems (Aviation Safety Action Program (ASAP) or Safety Action Report (SAR)).
- Responsible for adhering to all applicable laws, regulations (FAA, OSHA, DOT, etc.) and Company policies, procedures and risk controls.
- Uphold JetBlue’s safety performance metric goals and understand how they relate to their duties and responsibilities.
- The use of ChatGPT or any other automated tool during the interview process will disqualify a candidate from being considered for the position.

Compensation:
- The base pay range for this position is between $56,500.00 and $103,100.00 per year. Base pay is one component of JetBlue’s total compensation package, which may also include access to healthcare benefits, a 401(k) plan and company match, crewmember stock purchase plan, short-term and long-term disability coverage, basic life insurance, free space available travel on JetBlue, and more.
