Senior Analyst Strategy
Position Summary
The Senior Analyst Strategy role at JetBlue Airways is a multi-functional position within the JetForward team, which leads JetForward—the company-wide transformation plan. As a Senior Analyst, this role plays a key part in turning strategy into action: building strong cross-functional relationships, ensuring effective governance, and using KEY, our internal tracking tool, to deliver high-impact initiatives. This role works alongside senior leaders to execute transformation projects, prepare board-level materials, and uncover insights through advanced analysis, from cost and revenue benchmarking to network modeling and competitive assessments. It is a highly visible position with opportunities to influence JetBlue’s long-term vision and contribute to strategic and business development initiatives across the company.
Essential Responsibilities
- Lead execution of JetForward—the company-wide transformation plan—by managing workstream relationships, ensuring strong governance, leveraging KEY (JetBlue’s internal tracking tool), and aligning initiatives with transformation goals
- Collaborate with cross-functional partners at all levels to develop and implement strategic and tactical initiatives that advance JetBlue’s transformation efforts
- Prepare and deliver materials for senior leadership and board-level reporting on transformation progress and strategy execution
- Identify and mitigate risks within workstreams to ensure successful project delivery while driving continuous improvement in efficiency and effectiveness
- Deliver complex company and industry analyses, including cost and revenue benchmarking, network modeling, and competitive assessments using public and internal data sources
- Support ad-hoc strategic and business development initiatives that advance the company’s long-term vision
- Other duties as assigned
Minimum Experience and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in a related field; OR demonstrated capability to perform job responsibilities with a combination of a High School Diploma/GED and at least four (4) years of previous relevant work experience
- Three (3) years of professional experience with a strong emphasis on data analytics, financial and strategic modeling, and cross-functional program/project management in support of business decision-making
- Candidates must demonstrate Problem-Solving, Analysis, and Communication & Presentation in a work sample assessment
- Proficient with the Microsoft Office suite, including Excel, PowerPoint, and project management tools
- Effective written, verbal, and listening communication skills, including strong presentation skills
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to ask inquisitive questions and solve complex problems
- Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and interact with all levels of JetBlue
- Self-motivated with a positive self-image and the ability to work independently
- A team player who enjoys collaboration and fostering teamwork
- Available for overnight travel (10%)
- Must pass a pre-employment drug test
- Must be legally eligible to work in the country in which the position is located.

Preferred Experience and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Business, Aviation or related field
- Previous experience in airline, travel, hospitality or transportation industry
- Knowledge of airline industry trends, consumer preferences, and competitive trends
- Some experience with industry data sources (e.g. DOT data, Skailark, Diio) as well as experience in commercial and/or financial aspects of the airline industry (e.g. revenue management, network, partnerships, financial planning & analysis (FP&A) and/or marketing)

- Regular attendance and punctuality
- Potential need to work flexible hours and be available to respond on short-notice
- Able to maintain a professional appearance
- When working or traveling on JetBlue flights, and if time permits, all capable crewmembers are asked to assist with light cleaning of the aircraft
- Must be an appropriate organizational fit for the JetBlue culture, that is, exhibit the JetBlue values of Safety, Caring, Integrity, Passion and Fun
- Must fulfill safety accountabilities as prescribed by JetBlue’s Safety Management System
- Promote JetBlue’s #1 value of safety as a Safety Ambassador, supporting JetBlue’s Safety Management System (SMS) components, Safety Policy and behavioral standards
- Identify safety and/or security concerns, issues, incidents or hazards that should be reported and report them whenever possible and by any means necessary including JetBlue’s confidential reporting systems (Aviation Safety Action Program (ASAP) or Safety Action Report (SAR))
- Responsible for adhering to all applicable laws, regulations (FAA, OSHA, DOT, etc.) and Company policies, procedures and risk controls
- Uphold JetBlue’s safety performance metric goals and understand how they relate to their duties and responsibilities
- The use of ChatGPT or any other automated tool during the interview process will disqualify a candidate from being considered for the position

Compensation:
- The base pay range for this position is between $66,000.00 and $103,100.00 per year. Base pay is one component of JetBlue’s total compensation package, which may also include performance bonuses, restricted stock units, as well as access to healthcare benefits, a 401(k) plan and company match, crewmember stock purchase plan, short-term and long-term disability coverage, basic life insurance, free space available travel on JetBlue, and more
