Title: Senior Analyst Strategic Planning

Position Summary
The Senior Analyst is responsible for analysis and will identify, evaluate, and drive strategic initiatives for Tech Ops Maintenance Planning. The Senior Analyst will develop and maintain reporting tools, forecasting models, and schedule analysis to assist the Maintenance team in dealing with a constantly changing network footprint. Additionally, the senior analyst will identify any trends or anomalies that impact the Maintenance and Maintenance Planning teams.
Essential Responsibilities
- Perform quantitative and statistical analysis, and translate into actionable insights for Tech Ops.
- Develop long term forecast of fleet maintenance requirements and review flight schedules to anticipate problems and plan for future operations.
- Develop presentations, reports, dashboards, and data visualizations for regular production meetings that drive executive-level decision making.
- Collaborate with Network and Schedule Planning teams to establish and enforce ground time requirements.
- Maintain existing data analysis, reporting, and forecasting tools, and build new ones to support a fast-paced and growing Maintenance Operation.
- Develop and maintain metrics on maintenance planning and task yield performance.
- Build scripts, macros, excel tools to aggregate and analyze Maintenance Operations data.
- Maintain and update Maintenance Planning standards.

Minimum Experience and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics or other quantitative field; OR demonstrated capability to perform job responsibilities with a High School Diploma/GED and at least four (4) years of previous relevant experience
- Three (3) years of experience in data or operations analysis.
- Excellent quantitative and analytical skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Ability to lead and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Experience with analyzing large datasets from multiple sources
- Highly proficient in Excel
- Highly proficient in R or Python
- Ability to learn new computer programs and applications
- Legally eligible to work in the country in which the position is located
- Authorization to work in the US is required. This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship
Preferred Experience and Qualifications
- Master’s Degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or other quantitative field.
- Two (2) years of work experience in within the airline industry.
- Experience presenting data to director level (or above) leadership.
- Experience building automated tools to cut down manual reporting and drive analysis.
- Experience with database querying (e.g. SQL, MS Access)
- Experience with BI data tool

Compensation:
- The base pay range for this position is between $64,000.00 and $103,100.00 per year. Base pay is one component of JetBlue’s total compensation package, which may also include access to healthcare benefits, a 401(k) plan and company match, crewmember stock purchase plan, short-term and long-term disability coverage, basic life insurance, free space available travel on JetBlue, and more.
