Position Summary

The Senior Analyst, Revenue Business Intelligence supports the analytical needs of the Revenue Management and broader Commercial organization. This role plays a key part in reporting out both internally and externally the overall revenue health of the company by analyzing complex data and delivering insights. The Senior Analyst will develop dashboards, key performance indicators (KPIs), and reports to measure the effectiveness of revenue strategies and track key initiatives. The Senior Analyst also collaborates with cross-functional teams and business partners to ensure alignment on analytical findings and strategic objectives.

 

Essential Responsibilities

  • Conduct detailed revenue analysis on performance trends on a regular basis
  • Develop and maintain executive-level reporting dashboards tailored to stakeholder needs
  • Work cross-functionally with Revenue Management and the wider Commercial teams to identify and drive incremental revenue opportunities
  • Perform ad hoc analysis and create models to make robust recommendations in support of revenue initiatives as well as monitor and iterate once launched
  • Manage relationships with business partners that are critical for Revenue Management data and processes
  • Support the preparation of earnings call materials by compiling and analyzing revenue data
  • Other duties as assigned

 

Minimum Experience and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering or a relevant field; OR demonstrated capability to perform job responsibilities with a combination of a High School Diploma/GED and at least four (4) years of previous relevant work experience
  • Three (3) years of analytical or quantitative experience
  • Fluent in SQL coding language
  • Excellent data analysis and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Experience in array of analysis tools (i.e. Access, Excel, SQL, R)
  • Experience with Tableau or other data visualization tools
  • Experience with analyzing Big Data
  • Ability to learn new computer programs and applications
  • Available for occasional overnight travel (10%)
  • Must pass a pre-employment drug test 
  • Must be legally eligible to work in the country in which the position is located
  • Authorization to work in the US is required, this position is not eligible for visa sponsorship

 

Preferred Experience and Qualifications

  • Experience within airline industry
  • Five (5) years of analytical experience
  • Full understanding of Tableau

 

Crewmember Expectations:

  • Regular attendance and punctuality
  • Potential need to work flexible hours and be available to respond on short-notice
  • Able to maintain a professional appearance
  • When working or traveling on JetBlue flights, and if time permits, all capable crewmembers are asked to assist with light cleaning of the aircraft

Compensation:

  • The base pay range for this position is between $66,000.00 and $103,100.00 per year. Base pay is one component of JetBlue’s total compensation package, which may also include access to healthcare benefits, a 401(k) plan and company match, crewmember stock purchase plan, short-term and long-term disability coverage, basic life insurance, free space available travel on JetBlue, and more.)
