Title: Senior Analyst IT Quality Assurance, Loyalty

Position Summary
JetBlue Airways is looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented quality Senior Quality Assurance (QA) Analyst who strongly desires to learn and actively participate in the end-to-end system testing process in a fast-paced environment. The role involves overseeing the testing strategy of feature changes, supporting efforts to refine and organize our general testing process and workflow, and mentoring QA Analysts. The Senior QA Analyst will have a passion for quality and site usability and own the quality of deliverables end-to-end, working closely with the company's Business, Product, and Product Engineering teams. The Senior QA Analyst will also work with the Development and DevOps teams and product stakeholders to ensure successful end-to-end Integration and API testing efforts.
Essential Responsibilities
- Analyze requirements and develop the Test Strategy, Requirements Traceability Matrix, and test plan
- Involvement and attendance during scrum meetings, discuss issues with the developing team, and timely fix issues
- Lead a team of QA Analysts to support ongoing project efforts
- Collaborate with technical teams, business teams, and product managers to ensure that testing is completed meeting their vision
- Work on Customer Loyalty System
- Help the Quality Manager determine testing scope and approach with an emphasis on test automation, and provide mentoring of junior analysts
- Gather and maintain metrics specific to quality and software testing
- Perform regression testing against the various builds of the application
- Participate in the generation and validation of test plans, test cases, and traceability matrixes
- Involvement in testing web services using Postman collection and verify responses with the User Interface (UI) application
- Proactively participate in the review process of functional specifications and interface specifications for test planning and generating test cases
- Track test case failures and remediation efforts, and validate the results
- Involvement in defect tracking meetings with the developer and business team
- Verify that web functionality meets business needs and provide a great user experience
- Own end-to-end quality of features from test case writing to automation testing
- Work closely with product owners, developers, and other test engineers in a fast-paced environment
- Participate in the execution of the testing process in compliance with the Quality Assurance testing plan
- Other duties as assigned
Minimum Experience and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer Science or a relevant area; OR demonstrated capability to perform job responsibilities with a combination of a High School Diploma/GED and at least four (4) years of previous relevant work experience
- Three (3) years of previous experience as part of a Software Quality Assurance Field
- Three (3) years of previous experience using Test Management Software
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong knowledge of software development lifecycle
- Experience with QA processes in an agile environment
- Experience working in the airline Industry
- Fundamental awareness of loyalty programs, members and partners management.
- Understanding of Microsoft Azure technologies
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Available for overnight travel (10%)
- Must pass a pre-employment drug test
- Must be legally eligible to work in the country in which the position is located
Preferred Experience and Qualifications
- Five (5) years of previous experience as part of a Software Quality Assurance Field
- Four (4) years of previous experience using Test Management Software
- Knowledge and understanding of the factors that influence customer loyalty
- Knowledge of analyzing and interpreting customer behavior, engagement and retention data
- Knowledge to develop strategies that increase customer retention and promote customer loyalty
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies, such as Scrum or Kanban
- Knowledge of different testing methodologies
- Knowledge of Rest API and HTTP Methods
- Working with Self-service and Kiosks applications
- Experience with API Testing tools Postman or RestAssured
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Project and Excel, Word
- Understanding programming languages like JavaScript, TypeScript, Node.js, Java etc. as well as Git Version Control System
- Focused and driven to excellence to ensure the quality of deliverables
- Excellent customer service and an understanding of how IT is ultimately delivered to the customer
- Experience in Microsoft Playwright, Cypress, WebdriverIO, Selenium or other WebDriver protocol automation tool
- Proficiently create test automation through low-code tools as well as through programming (such as using JavaScript, TypeScript automation tools via Node.js ecosystem, and Git for version control)

- When working or traveling on JetBlue flights, and if time permits, all capable crew members are asked to assist with light aircraft cleaning

Compensation:
- The base pay range for this position is between $90,500.00 and $128,600.00 per year. Base pay is one component of JetBlue’s total compensation package, which may also include access to healthcare benefits, a 401(k) plan and company match, crewmember stock purchase plan, short-term and long-term disability coverage, basic life insurance, free space available travel on JetBlue, and more.
