Title: Senior Analyst Heavy MX Programs

Position Summary
The Senior Analyst Heavy MX Programs is responsible for supporting the Project Manager (PM) Production in all activities related to the planning, development, execution and monitoring of new and existing programs within the Tech Ops Heavy Maintenance (MX) organization. The Senior Analyst works along with JetBlue Engineering, Compliance, Engines, Fleet, Heavy Maintenance, Quality, and Planning ensuring all major objectives, milestones, and deliverables are met and communicated throughout the org. The Senior Analyst reports to the Manager of Heavy MX Programs and Materials.
Essential Responsibilities
- Support JetBlue fleet modification initiatives through all stages of the project lifecycle.
- Ability to track program progress to a high-level timeline, work on open action items to advance projects both independently and with directive.
- Establish a project material supply chain, spend forecast, and submit purchase orders. Monitor supply chain to ensure orders on-track toward production/usage milestones and escalate should deviations arise.
- Forecast, monitor, and manage all program/project materials at our heavy maintenance facilities needed to support upcoming aircraft modifications. Identify, resolve, or escalate any material issues as they arise.
- Lead program/project purchases efforts including request for quote’s (RFQ’s), analyzing bids, and submitting recommendations to PM/Manager for purchasing approval.
- Assist in creating and implementing action plans to respond to program/project risk.
- Interface with internal Tech Ops teams including Engineering, Planning, Compliance, Materials, Quality, and others to advance project objectives.
- Liaise and visit with Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) and Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) business partners as needed to support project efforts including project milestone meetings, prototypes, MRO preparedness meetings, ongoing support, and other potential work packages.
- All other duties as assigned.
Minimum Experience and Qualifications
- High School Diploma or General Education Development (GED) Diploma
- Five (5) years’ experience working in project support, materials, supply chain, or other relevant supporting capacity
- Working knowledge and experience with TRAX materials/inventory management, receiving, and movement
- Working knowledge and experience with materials and logistics forecasting and processes
- Familiarity with key JetBlue Tech Ops stakeholders, understanding whom to contact in various situations to quickly resolve issues
- Ability to support multiple projects simultaneously and manage/adapt changes that impact existing plans
- Ability to work well with others and complete tasks with minimal supervision
- Proficient in Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Excellent verbal, written, and analytical skills
- Possess and maintain a valid Driver License and a driving record from the state of your primary residence that meets JetBlue Airways’ insurance standards
- Must be able to acquire and maintain a valid Security Identification Display Area (SIDA) Badge for JFK or MCO
- Must be available for low to moderate business travel (10-50%) as needed
- Currently in possession of a valid passport or equivalent travel documents to travel freely in and out of all JetBlue destinations
- Must pass a pre-employment drug test
- Must be legally eligible to work in the country in which the position is located
- Authorization to work in the US is required, this position is not eligible for visa sponsorship
Preferred Experience and Qualifications
- Prior history of successfully managing large scale aircraft modification/upgrade programs
- Seven (7) years’ experience working in project support, materials, supply chain, or other relevant supporting capacity
- Working knowledge and experience with service bulletins, engineering orders and task cards
- Experience communicating written and verbal updates up to management

Compensation:
- The base pay range for this position is between $64,000.00 and $103,100.00 Base pay is one component of JetBlue’s total compensation package, which may also include access to healthcare benefits, a 401(k) plan and company match, crewmember stock purchase plan, short-term and long-term disability coverage, basic life insurance, free space available travel on JetBlue, and more.
