Position Title: Senior Analyst Ground Experience Strategy & Development
Position Summary
The Senior Analyst Ground Experience (GEX) Strategy & Development reports to the Manager Ground Experience and will provide support overseeing JetBlue-managed concessions programs, with a focus on Terminal 5 (T5) at JFK Airport. The Senior Analyst will also help manage terminal redesign and relocation initiatives. Additionally, the Senior Analyst works cross-functionally and engages in complex, broad analyses.
The ideal candidate is a Customer-focused member of the Commercial team who is skilled at building and maintaining relationships at all levels within the organization and externally as necessary. The Senior Analyst excels in a matrix environment, can shift priorities to meet business needs, and facilitate and drive decision making. This self-motivated individual is extremely well organized, communicative, detail-oriented, and exhibits the JetBlue values.
Essential Responsibilities
- Provide support to the GEX Manager in overseeing the JFK T5 concessions program and its restoration post-COVID
- Provide strategic planning and analytical support for terminal redesign and relocation initiatives
- Assist with the development of strategic partnerships to further enhance the ground experience, such as technology to improve the terminal and concessions experience
- Maintain regular check-ins with key Business Partners to ensure that all relationships are healthy and programs are running smoothly
- Maintain regular check-ins with JetBlue portfolio companies (JetBlue Travel Products and JetBlue Technology Ventures) to explore new opportunities for Customer-facing partnerships
- Identify creative ways to maximize resources and continually drive improvements to JetBlue’s Ground Experience, including both financial/budgetary constraints and physical constraints
- Other duties to represent the Product team within the organization as assigned
- Ad hoc analysis and other duties as assigned
Minimum Experience and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree; OR demonstrated capability to perform job responsibilities with a High School Diploma/GED and at least four (4) years of previous relevant experience
- Three (3) years’ analytical experience
- High proficiency with MS Excel and MS PowerPoint
- Experience managing large-scale cross-functional teams; gaining acceptance of ideas or plans by using appropriate interpersonal styles and methods to inspire and guide individuals and team
- Ability to multi-task across a variety of projects, departments and timelines
- Excellent verbal and non-verbal communication skills
- A flexible, dynamic, self-demanding and proactive individual; able to motivate him/herself and others
- Available for occasional overnight travel (10%)
- In possession of valid travel documents with the ability to travel in and out of the United States
- Able to work flexible hours and be available for an emergency response on short notice
- Must pass a ten (10) year background check and pre-employment drug test
- Must be legally eligible to work in the country in which the position is located
Preferred Experience and Qualifications
- Previous experience in airline or hospitality
- Three (3) years of project management experience
- Deep understanding of JetBlue stakeholder landscape, both internal and external
- Ability and preference to work under minimal supervision; ability to manage own time and priorities
Crewmember Expectations:
- Regular attendance and punctuality
- Potential need to work flexible hours and be available to respond on short-notice
- Able to maintain a professional appearance
- Experience with food, retail and consumer service concession operations and finances
- When working or traveling on JetBlue flights, and if time permits, all capable crewmembers are asked to assist with light cleaning of the aircraft

- Identify safety and/or security concerns, issues, incidents or hazards that should be reported and report them whenever possible and by any means necessary including JetBlue’s confidential reporting systems (Aviation Safety Action Program (ASAP) or Safety Action Report(SAR))
