Position Title: Senior Analyst, Financial Planning & Analysis
Position Summary
The Senior Analyst, Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) is responsible for driving process improvement, automation, and system enhancements across the Finance organization, including FP&A, Controller, and Treasury teams. This role partners closely with Finance and IT stakeholders to assess current workflows, translate business needs into technical solutions, and deliver scalable, well-documented processes that improve decision-making and reporting. The Senior Analyst reports to the Manager of FP&A and is expected to independently lead initiatives, communicate clearly with diverse audiences, and influence change across teams.
Essential Responsibilities
- Lead and support financial systems implementation, enhancement and integrations, partnering with Finance and IT stakeholders to understand existing processes and how automation and company data can be utilized to support financial decision-making and reporting needs
- Support capital planning and reporting processes, designing and maintaining technical solutions and datasets that enable accurate, timely, and actionable capital insights
- Translate business needs into clear, prioritized requirements, documenting enhancements and collaborating with process owners and leadership to sequence work effectively.
- Produce comprehensive technical and business documentation for each solution, ensuring clarity, maintainability, and knowledge continuity
- Effectively present work and recommendations to large audiences, senior leadership, and cross-functional partners, clearly articulating concepts and driving alignment
- Champion a culture of process excellence and data quality, promoting standardization, governance, and consistent use of financial datasets across the Finance organization
- Identify and proactively recommend opportunities to modernize tools, simplify workflows, and increase automation throughout the Finance organization
- Other duties as assigned
Minimum Experience and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Computer Science, Mathematics; OR demonstrated capability to perform job responsibilities with a combination of a High School Diploma/GED and at least four (4) years of previous related work experience
- Three (3) years of relevant experience administering Finance Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) systems (e.g., SAP BPC, Oracle Hyperion)
- Two (2) years of relevant experience working with data warehouses (e.g., Snowflake/SQL) and business intelligence tools (e.g., Tableau)
- One (1) year of experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python)
- Working knowledge of Finance and Accounting principles
- Experience summarizing and presenting complex analysis to non-technical audiences
- Available for occasional overnight travel (10%)
- Must pass a pre-employment drug test
- Must be legally eligible to work in the country in which the position is located
- Authorization to work in the US is required, this position is not eligible for visa sponsorship
Preferred Experience and Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Computer Science, Mathematics, or an equivalently rigorous analytical discipline
- Experience implementing Enterprise Performance Management tools; Demonstrated ability to deliver end-to-end finance data solutions from requirements through deployment
- Proven track record of building data products combining Python, Snowflake and Tableau
- Experience working with finance ERP systems (e.g., SAP S/4HANA & BusinessObjects (WebI), BPC, Oracle)
- Prior airline experience

- Potential need to work flexible hours and be available to respond on short notice
- Able to maintain a professional appearance
- When working or traveling on JetBlue flights, and if time permits, all capable crewmembers are asked to assist with light cleaning of the aircraft

Compensation:
- The base pay range for this position is between $66,000.00 and $103,100.00 per year. Base pay is one component of JetBlue’s total compensation package, which may also include access to healthcare benefits, a 401(k) plan and company match, crewmember stock purchase plan, short-term and long-term disability coverage, basic life insurance, free space available travel on JetBlue, and more.
