Position Title: Senior Analyst Revenue Management Decision Support

Position Summary

The function of the Decision Support team is to be a centralized reporting, monitoring and strategy group that drives clear actionable insights, utilizing a multitude of data points. The Senior Analyst works with cross functional groups within Revenue Management to help shape flight revenue strategies and find opportunities. In addition, the Sr. Analyst will compile analyses and lead communication with senior leadership on the health of the revenue environment.

Essential Responsibilities

· Monitor daily, demand trends and synthesize data to curate clear recommendations to further revenue production

· Own the creation of Tableau dashboards while also continually iterating and evolving the platform by generating new visualizations and insights to disseminate to the wider organization

· Lead the strategy cadence by working with Yield Management, Revenue Management Optimization and Revenue Analysis to create targets to monitor against

· Play a challenger role by overseeing the overall effectiveness of the Revenue Management organization by proactively showcasing opportunities to the respective teams

· Be the key revenue storyteller by presenting key performance trends on a regular basis to leadership

· Perform ad hoc analysis and create models to make robust recommendations in support of revenue initiatives

· Step in for manager as needed, representing the team and communications with senior leadership

· Other duties as assigned

Minimum Experience and Qualifications

· Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Mathematics, Statistics or relevant field

· Three (3) years of analytical or quantitative experience

· Excellent analytical skills

· Experience with Tableau or other data visualization tools

· Ability to work independently and in a team environment

· Experience with analyzing large datasets from multiple sources

· Highly proficient in an array of analysis tools

· Pass a ten (10) year background check and pre-employment drug test

· Legally eligible to work in the country in which the position is located

Preferred Experience and Qualifications

· Five (5) years of analytical or quantitative experience

· Two (2) years Revenue Management experience

· Experience within airline industry

· Full understanding of the Tableau business intelligence tool

· Strong track record of communicating insights to leadership

· Experience using programming language to extract large datasets

· Potential need to work flexible hours and be available to respond on short-notice

· Well-groomed and able to maintain a professional appearance

· When working or traveling on JetBlue flights, and if time permits, all capable crewmembers are asked to assist with light cleaning of the aircraft
