Position Summary

The Product Manager, Airtable Platform reports to the Manager, Technology Finance & Portfolio Management and is responsible for driving the strategy, development, and ongoing optimization of JetBlue’s Airtable-based portfolio and workflow management solutions. This role sits at the intersection of business process design, low-code platform development, and product strategy supporting a scalable, secure, and user-focused product that enables visibility, planning, and decision-making across Technology and business teams.

 

The Product Manager will operate with a high level of hands-on technical engagement, actively participating in the design, configuration, and evolution of Airtable solutions while maintaining full accountability for product vision, roadmap, and outcomes. This individual will partner closely with Technology Finance, Portfolio Management, Data, and Business Partners to design scalable, user-centered solutions that drive visibility, efficiency, and decision-making across the company.

This role combines core product management responsibilities with hands-on technical platform ownership, requiring the Product Manager to actively design Airtable interfaces, workflows, automations, and integrations while guiding the product’s governance and strategic direction. The Product Manager will operate with deep technical fluency, maintaining close involvement in Airtable configuration, solution design, and platform evolution to ensure scalable, high-quality outcomes.

Essential Responsibilities

 

  • Own the product governance, vision, roadmap, and backlog for JetBlue’s Airtable platform, ensuring alignment with business priorities, user needs and consistent product adoption and usage across the enterprise
  • Collaborate with Technology Finance, Portfolio Management, IT, Data, and business teams to prioritize and deliver high-impact platform enhancements
  • Translate complex business processes into scalable Airtable solutions, including base architecture, relational data models, workflows, and automations
  • Maintain hands-on involvement in Airtable configuration, including formulas, computed fields, automations, interfaces, and views
  • Design and deliver intuitive, user-friendly interfaces and dashboards using Airtable Interface Designer to support a wide range of stakeholders
  • Lead and support integration between Airtable and enterprise systems (e.g., Jira, HyperDB, Snowflake, Outlook, MS Project) using APIs and scripting
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to gather requirements, define success metrics, and ensure delivered solutions drive measurable value
  • Prioritize features and enhancements using impact-driven frameworks, balancing near-term delivery with long-term platform scalability
  • Ensure data integrity, governance, and performance across Airtable bases and connected systems
  • Communicate product strategy, roadmap, and progress effectively to technical and non-technical audiences
  • Champion Airtable best practices and provide guidance to analysts and stakeholders on effective platform usage
  • Demonstrate a strong customer service mindset and uphold JetBlue’s values in all interactions

Minimum Experience and Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or General Education Development (GED) Diploma
  • Two (2) years of professional experience in technology product management
  • Ability to tailor communication style to different audiences, and to exercise good judgment in frequency and nature of communications to different parties (senior management, stakeholders, team members, etc.)
  • Ability to work in a high-pressure environment. 
  • Ability to rapidly resolve issues and recognize when escalation is necessary.
  • Excellent problem solving and structured thinking skills.
  • Available for occasional overnight travel (10%)
  • In possession of valid travel documents with the ability to travel in and out of the United States
  • Able to work flexible hours and be available for an emergency response on short notice
  • Must pass a pre-employment drug test
  • Must be legally eligible to work in the country in which the position is located
  • Authorization to work in the US is required. This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship

 

Preferred Experience and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent experience
  • Three (3) years of professional experience in technology product management
  • One (1) year of experience in technology project management discipline
  • Experience managing cross-functional, medium-large-scale projects with internal teams and external business partners
  • Knowledge of budget creation and management
  • Knowledge of the airline industry
  • Knowledge of airline technology products
  • Experience with relational databases or similar data constructs

 

Crewmember Expectations:

  • Regular attendance and punctuality
  • Potential need to work flexible hours and be available to respond on short notice
  • Able to maintain a professional appearance
  • When working or traveling on JetBlue flights, and if time permits, all capable crewmembers are asked to assist with light cleaning of the aircraft
  • Must be an appropriate organizational fit for the JetBlue culture, that is, exhibit the JetBlue values of Safety, Caring, Integrity, Passion and Fun
  • Promote JetBlue’s #1 value of safety as a Safety Ambassador, supporting JetBlue’s Safety Management System (SMS) components, Safety Policy and behavioral standards
  • Identify safety and/or security concerns, issues, incidents or hazards that should be reported and report them whenever possible and by any means necessary including JetBlue’s confidential reporting systems (Aviation Safety Action Program (ASAP) or Safety Action Report (SAR))

Compensation: 

  • The base pay range for this position is between $90,500.00 and $128,600.00 per year. Base pay is one component of JetBlue’s total compensation package, which may also include access to healthcare benefits, a 401(k) plan and company match, crewmember stock purchase plan, short-term and long-term disability coverage, basic life insurance, free space available travel on JetBlue, and more.
