Practitioner, Organizational Development and Change Management
Position Summary
The Practitioner, Organizational Development and Change Management reports to the Manager, Organizational Effectiveness and is responsible for supporting and continuing to advance the Organizational Development (OD) and Change Management practice. The Practitioner will work closely with the Organizational Effectiveness team and the broader Talent and People teams to provide strategic support and deliver practical and effective solutions to workgroups throughout JetBlue. They will apply understanding of OD methodologies, trends, and practices across multiple projects. The Practitioner will lead projects and initiatives, serving as the OD and Change Management SME and managing the relationships with various business leaders and teams.
Essential Responsibilities
- Work directly with internal stakeholders to identify underlying needs, formulate data-driven recommendations, and implement customized Organizational Development and Change Management solutions
- In partnership with the OE Manager, drive or support organizational development requests, which may include organizational design, strategy development, new leader transitions, talent development, and change management initiatives
- Apply a structured Change Management process to support the adoption of the changes identified for the success of various initiatives
- Design, develop, maintain, and educate others on OD and Change Management frameworks, tools, templates, trainings and additional resources to support ongoing business transformation
- Conduct internal and external benchmarking studies and analysis
- Oversee data collection methods and tools and analyze results (e.g., conduct interviews, focus groups, surveys, operational visits)
- Support team meetings, events and associated trainings by aiding with logistics, meeting content/materials/agendas, recording and follow up on action items
- Research and recommend new ways and “best practice” approaches to administer and revise our OD and Change Management projects and programs
- Other duties as assigned
Minimum Experience and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Organizational Development or related field; OR demonstrated capability to perform job responsibilities with a High School Diploma/GED and at least four (4) years of previous relevant experience
- Three (3) years of Change Management and Organizational Development experience with an internal or external consulting background
- Demonstrates strong presentation and facilitation skills through a completion of a work sample during the hiring process
- Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and diplomacy
- Experience interacting daily with people at different levels within the organization, including developing and maintaining ongoing relationships and influencing project approaches and timelines
- Experience organizing/coordinating multiple projects while providing exceptional customer service
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office and Outlook
- Available for occasional overnight travel (10%)
- Must pass a pre-employment drug test
- Legally eligible to work in the country in which the position is located
Preferred Experience and Qualifications
- Master’s Degree in Human Resources, Industrial/Organizational Psychology, or Business
- Ability to articulate and apply Organizational Psychology theories to multiple audiences
- Ability to create aesthetically appealing and logically organized presentation materials
- Prosci or other certification in Change Management
- Knowledge or experience in Organizational Design
- Certification in a Coaching methodology
- Working knowledge of process mapping
- Previous leadership experience and/or project management experience
- Experience creating and presenting talent-related training, materials, and team updates
- Experience with job analysis and evaluation, and job description preparation

- Potential need to work flexible hours and be available to respond on short-notice
- Able to maintain a professional appearance
- When working or traveling on JetBlue flights, and if time permits, all capable crewmembers are asked to assist with light cleaning of the aircraft

Compensation:
- The base pay range for this position is between $64,000.00 and $103,100.00 per year. Base pay is one component of JetBlue’s total compensation package, which may also include access to healthcare benefits, a 401(k) plan and company match, crewmember stock purchase plan, short-term and long-term disability coverage, basic life insurance, free space available travel on JetBlue, and more.
