Manager Digital Programs


Position Summary:

The Manager, Digital Programs plans, coordinates, and manages a portfolio of projects in the Digital and Customer Products group, including the Digital Transformation Program. With the guidance of the Director, Digital and Customer Products, the Manager actively leads all aspects of the projects from start to finish, including project team definition, project planning, documentation, contract and budget management, full project execution, tracking, reporting, rollout, interfaces with training and support groups, and program communication. The Manager also works closely with the General Managers in Digital and Customer Products to align budgets, staffing, prioritization, roadmaps, and ongoing process improvements across the program and product portfolio. 

 

 Essential Responsibilities:

  • Manage a "portfolio" of projects working through multiple Project Managers and Managers from start to finish including project initiation, planning, execution, tracking, control, and closure
  • Manages program funding including business case submissions, forecasts, auditing and capitalizing spend across the portfolio
  • Supports program portfolio coordination, including product roadmaps, communication, and IT prioritization 
  • Works closely with the agile transformation team on ongoing process improvements, PI Planning events, and other agile ceremonies
  • Closely tracks goals progression across the portfolio, including benefits delivery, product metrics, and overall strategy execution
  • Partner to develop and deliver an IT Strategy and an annual plan to support the business functions aligned to the area of responsibly including a solution and or application roadmap
  • Responsible for developing, maintaining and reporting a financial and resource plan for their area of responsibility.
  • Manage the IT and assigned Business unit relationship ensuring that clear and concise requirements are understood and agreed service levels are maintained  
  • Act as the escalation point for operational support to assigned portfolio applications
  • Partner with Strategic Sourcing to negotiate Business Partner contracts and service level agreements which aligns with business units requirements and expectations
  • Manage production and non-production environments through change control management 
  • Ensure work practices are in line with all audit, security and regulatory requirements and company policies
  • Partner with other IT Managers to ensure alignment and drive efficiencies and continued accountability for product and services delivery within assigned business units and across IT
  • Provide direct or indirect oversight of delivery teams for applicable portfolio initiatives 
  • Take a significant role in leading and coaching direct team and/or indirect Crewmembers to support the engagement, growth for the IT department
  • Other duties as assigned

 

 Minimum Experience and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related discipline and/or demonstrated ability to perform job responsibilities with a High School Diploma/GED and four (4) years of relevant work experience
  • Five (5) years project management experience
  • Two (2) years of Digital, E-commerce and/or agency experience
  • Demonstrated leadership through project/team management
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Project, Excel, Word and Visio
  • Knowledge of budget processes
  • Strong interpersonal, leadership and managerial skills including the ability to motivate others
  • Ability to work well with others and complete tasks with minimal supervision
  • Ability to work effectively with all levels and in diverse environments
  • Ability to manage risk
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to tailor communication style to different audiences, and to exercise good judgment in frequency and nature of communications to different parties (senior management, stakeholders, team members, etc.)
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and clients simultaneously
  • Able pass a ten (10) year background check and pre-employment drug test
  • Legally eligible to work in the country in which the position is located

 

Preferred Experience and Qualifications:

  • Awareness of and experience with industry standard project management and development methodologies

  • Well groomed and able to maintain a professional appearance
