Title: Manager Crew Resources

Position Summary
The Manager, Crew Resources falls within the Enterprise Planning organization and reports to the Senior Manager of Resource Planning. The manager is responsible for Flight and Inflight crew staffing needs, supporting all phases of long and short-term planning. The position will collaborate with counterparts in Operations, Network Planning, and Finance. They will be engaged throughout the entire crew resource planning cycle, including overseeing and enhancing departmental processes and systems, and developing and maintaining internal manpower plans. The role also involves monitoring and driving efficiencies aligned with business objectives, as well as developing and reporting on key manpower metrics. Ad-hoc analysis will be performed as required.
Essential Responsibilities
- Develop crew manpower plan and ensure the implementation and the execution of this plan by coordinating across Flight Ops, Inflight, Finance, Crew Services and JetBlue University along with other departments
- Develop, maintain and improve complex crew manpower systems
- Serve as the primary crew resource planning liaison
- Initiate and support operational and financial efficiency projects and business cases for Flight and Inflight
- Support budget and goal development for operational business units
- Develop presentations and analysis for Senior department leaders on an ad hoc basis
- Establish and track key indicators for crew planning
- Create and maintain crew divisional dashboards
- Responsible for all aspects of project development throughout the project lifecycle including facilitating meetings and communication amongst project team members and monitoring adherence to project deadlines
- Builds and fosters relationships with internal and external customers
- Take a significant role in the development of crewmembers to support their engagement, growth, and goal achievement
- Other duties as assigned
Minimum Experience and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Operations, Engineering or an equivalent field; OR demonstrated capability to perform job responsibilities with a combination of a High School Diploma/GED and at least four (4) years of previous related work experience
- Five (5) years of experience in manpower planning, business planning, resource planning, strategic planning, or related work
- Demonstrated leadership experience
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Available for occasional overnight travel (20%)
- Must pass a pre-employment drug test
- Must be legally eligible to work in the country in which the position is located
- Authorization to work in the US is required. This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship
Preferred Experience and Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Aviation, Business, Finance, Operations, Engineering or a related field
- Three (3) years of experience in airlines
- Strong capabilities with a programming language

- Able to maintain a professional appearance
- When working or traveling on JetBlue flights, and if time permits, all capable Crewmembers are asked to assist with light cleaning of the aircraft

- Responsible for adhering to all applicable laws, regulations (FAA, OSHA, DOT, etc.) and Company policies, procedures and risk controls
- Uphold JetBlue’s safety performance metric goals and understand how they relate to their duties and responsibilities
- The use of ChatGPT or any other automated tool during the interview process will disqualify a candidate from being considered for the position.

Compensation
- The base pay range for this position is between $81,000.00 and $136,200.00 per year. Base pay is one component of JetBlue’s total compensation package, which may also include performance bonuses, restricted stock units, as well as access to healthcare benefits, a 401(k) plan and company match, crewmember stock purchase plan, short-term and long-term disability coverage, basic life insurance, free space available travel on JetBlue, and more.
