Position Title: Graphic Designer (LSC)

Position Summary

JetBlue is looking for a creative and detail-oriented Graphic Designer to join our dynamic Creative Studio. In this role, you will be instrumental in shaping and executing visual communications that reflect JetBlue’s unique voice and customer-first philosophy. From digital campaigns and in-flight materials to marketing emails and internal communications, you’ll help bring our brand to life across every customer and crewmember touchpoint.

As a Graphic Designer at JetBlue, you will collaborate with marketers, copywriters, and other designers to develop high-impact visual assets that are both on-brand and strategically aligned. The ideal candidate has a strong eye for design, a passion for aviation and travel, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Develop “on-brand” visual assets for marketing campaigns, digital advertising, social media, print collateral, signage, merchandise, and JetBlue’s owned platforms
  • Work collaboratively with copywriters, marketers, and other design team members to create integrated campaign materials
  • Apply JetBlue’s brand guidelines to ensure consistency across all visual communications while maintaining a fresh and modern approach
  • Take direction and feedback from senior team members and translate it into design refinements
  • Prepare production-ready files and ensure accuracy across print and digital outputs
  • Participate in brainstorms, critiques, and team reviews with a willingness to contribute ideas and iterate
  • Stay current on design trends, tools, and techniques to help elevate JetBlue’s creative work
  • Support multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and maintaining high standards of quality
  • Other duties as assigned

Minimum Experience and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or related field; and at least Two to four (2-4 years) of previous related work experience
  • One (1) year of professional design experience, preferably in an in-house creative team or agency
  • Strong portfolio showcasing a variety of digital and print work, with clear understanding of layout, color, typography, and brand design
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop), Figma or other digital design tools is a plus
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent time-management skills
  • Comfortable working independently and as part of a collaborative creative team
  • Available for occasional overnight travel (10%)
  • Must pass a pre-employment drug test
  • Must be legally eligible to work in the country in which the position is located
  • Authorization to work in the US is required. This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship

Preferred Experience and Qualifications

  • Two to four (2-4 years) of professional design experience, preferably in an in-house creative team or agency
  • Experience working on lifestyle, travel, or consumer-facing brands
  • Strong illustration skills contributing original artwork, icons, or visual assets when needed
  • Familiarity with motion design or animation tools is a plus
  • Understanding of production processes for both digital and print media

Crewmember Expectations:

  • Regular attendance and punctuality
  • Potential need to work flexible hours and be available to respond on short notice
  • Able to maintain a professional appearance
  • When working or traveling on JetBlue flights, and if time permits, all capable crewmembers are asked to assist with light cleaning of the aircraft
  • Must be an appropriate organizational fit for the JetBlue culture, that is, exhibit the JetBlue values of Safety, Caring, Integrity, Passion and Fun
  • Promote JetBlue’s #1 value of safety as a Safety Ambassador, supporting JetBlue’s Safety Management System (SMS) components, Safety Policy and behavioral standards
  • Identify safety concerns, issues, incidents or hazards that should be reported and report them whenever possible and by any means necessary including JetBlue’s confidential reporting systems (Aviation Safety Action Program (ASAP) or Safety Action Report (SAR))

Compensation: 

  • The base pay range for this position is between $64,350.00 and $89,600.00. Base pay is one component of JetBlue’s total compensation package, which may also include access to healthcare benefits, a 401(k) plan and company match, crewmember stock purchase plan, short-term and long-term disability coverage, basic life insurance, free space available travel on JetBlue, and more
