Position Summary

We’re seeking an experienced Endpoint Engineer to play a crucial role in enhancing our endpoint management capabilities.  As part of the Workplace Technology team, you’ll deliver and support endpoint solutions that drives the JetBlue experience.  The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mobile endpoint management, with a focus on managing iOS, macOS, and Android devices.  The Endpoint Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing endpoint computing solutions to ensure the efficiency and security of JetBlue’s IT infrastructure.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Maintain and support JetBlue’s endpoint computing management to ensure the highest availability while reducing the impact of incidents.
  • Provide guidance and expertise as a subject matter expert to implement and manage mobile device management (MDM) and mobile application management (MAM) policies using Omnissa Workspace ONE and Microsoft Intune to secure and streamline device and application usage across the organization.
  • Design and support the macOS image configuration based on company standards to enable the delivery of crewmember productivity toolsets on Apple Mac hardware.
  • Implement and manage Omnissa Workspace ONE for application deployment and configuration, device configuration and compliance, and ensure seamless integration with endpoint solutions.
  • Manage and maintain endpoint security policies and configurations.
  • Develop and maintain operational procedures, documentation, and reporting on endpoint inventory, health, performance, security, and usage.
  • Understand, troubleshoot, and resolve complex operational issues impacting user productivity and design proactive resolutions to address and prevent.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure endpoint solutions align with business objectives.
  • Stay current with industry trends and best practices in endpoint management.

Minimum Experience and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline; OR demonstrated capability to perform job responsibilities with a combination of a High School Diploma/GED and at least four (4) years of previous related work experience
  • Three (3) years of experience in Apple Mac OS, including macOS 15 Sequoia and macOS14 Sonoma.
  • Three (3) years of experience in Omnissa Workspace ONE (WS1) to manage iOS, iPadOS, Android, and macOS devices or three (3) years of experience in required in Apple iOS and iPadOS across iPhones and iPad (preferred both)
  • Three (3) years of experience in IT, demonstrating a growing progression of responsibilities including work in endpoint computing, service management, and technology adoption.
  • Proven success and demonstrable ability to effectively to develop and deliver the technologies listed above, with specific experience in deploying and managing these solutions in a complex organizational setting.
  • Strong understanding of mobile device management (MDM) and mobile application management (MAM) principles.
  • Demonstrated project management skills, capable of providing technical leadership of initiatives from conception through to successful implementation
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of conveying complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Available for overnight travel (up to 10%)
  • Able to work flexible hours and be available for emergency response on short notice
  • Provide twenty four (24) hour, seven (7) day a week on-call support at scheduled times; and be able to be contacted through a business cell phone or provide an alternate phone contact at all times
  • Must pass a pre-employment drug test
  • Must be legally eligible to work in the country in which the position is located
  • Authorization to work in the US is required.
  • This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship

Preferred Experience and Qualifications

  • Five (5) years of experience in Apple Mac OS, including macOS 15 Sequoia and macOS14 Sonoma.
  • Experience in managing endpoints running iOS, Android, Windows, and macOS on Microsoft Intune platform.
  • Knowledge of Entra ID Connect and Entra ID Conditional Access
  • Experience with PowerShell and automation
  • Solid understanding of ITIL Foundation processes
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent organizational and project management capabilities

  • Regular attendance and punctuality
  • Potential need to work flexible hours and be available to respond on short-notice
  • Able to maintain a professional appearance
  • When working or traveling on JetBlue flights, and if time permits, all capable crewmembers are asked to assist with light cleaning of the aircraft
  • Must be an appropriate organizational fit for the JetBlue culture, that is, exhibit the JetBlue values of Safety, Caring, Integrity, Passion and Fun
  • Promote JetBlue's #1 value of safety as a Safety Ambassador, supporting JetBlue's Safety Management System (SMS) components, Safety Policy and behavioral standards
  • Identify safety and security concerns, issues, incidents or hazards that should be reported and report them whenever possible and by any means necessary including JetBlue's confidential reporting systems (Aviation Safety Action Program (ASAP) or Safety Action Report (SAR))
  • The use of ChatGPT or any other automated tool during the interview process will disqualify a candidate from being considered for the position.

Compensation

  • The base pay range for this position is between $90,500.00 and $128,600.00 per year. Base pay is one component of JetBlue’s total compensation package, which may also include access to healthcare benefits, a 401(k) plan and company match, crewmember stock purchase plan, short-term and long-term disability coverage, basic life insurance, free space available travel on JetBlue, and more.
