Position Title: Coordinator Talent and Learning (Executive, Recruitment Scheduling).


Position Summary

The Coordinator will report to the Director of Talent Acquisition while providing administrative support to the broader Talent & Learning team including Talent Acquisition, Talent Management, Organizational Effectiveness, and JetBlue University. The Coordinator’s primary responsibility will be supporting executive hiring and onboarding within Talent Acquisition with the remainder of time spent on other high-visibility activities across the team and providing administrative support to the Head of Talent & Learning and other Talent & Learning leaders as necessary. The Coordinator will also aid in the planning and execution of department specific events and activities, as well as support Onboarding Days in our Corporate Support Centers in New York, Orlando, and Salt Lake City as needed. Essential Responsibilities

  • Support all activities related to executive search such as scheduling, planning, record keeping, contract management and invoicing, and more
  • Diligently manage and relay confidential information
  • Provide administrative and project support to the Head of Talent & Learning, including scheduling, drafting communications, collating regular team updates, calendaring, preparing materials (e.g. calendar, binders, newsletters, etc.), expense processing, travel planning, phone/email management, and more
  • Occasionally build and deliver ad-hoc reporting and other analytical tasks as needed
  • Support the development and execution of Talent & Learning team events and activities
  • Research and recommend new ways and best practices
  • Aid in the planning and execution for People team department events
  • Support with Onboarding Days and new hire I-9 verification
  • Other duties as assigned


Minimum Experience and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Aviation, Human Resources, or related business or analytical field
  • One (1) year clerical or administrative experience
  • Experience organizing/coordinating projects while providing exceptional customer service
  • Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and diplomacy
  • Must be comfortable in a demanding, fast paced  environment
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office, Outlook, Teams, and common social media platforms
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience organizing/coordinating projects while providing exceptional customer service
  • Available for moderate travel (up to 20%)
  • Pass a ten (10) year background check and pre-employment drug test
  • Legally eligible to work in the country in which the position is located


Preferred Experience and Qualifications

  • One (1) year professional experience in human resources
  • Aviation work experience or education

  • Regular attendance and punctuality
  • Potential need to work flexible hours and be available to respond on short-notice
  • Well-groomed and able to maintain a professional appearance
  • When working or traveling on JetBlue flights, and if time permits, all capable crewmembers are asked to assist with light cleaning of the aircraft
