Coordinator Talent Acquisition and People Business Partner (Corporate) 

Position Summary

The Coordinator for JetBlue's Corporate Talent Acquisition (TA) team will support Recruiters and Leadership overseeing all corporate verticals across the organization. In this role, you will be an integral partner in managing recruiting activities and building candidate relationships; often providing candidates with their first impression of JetBlue! You should possess exceptional organizational skills, an uncanny ability to multitask, strong written and verbal communication skills, and a passion for positively affecting the internal and external candidate and hiring manager experience. In this position, you will connect the dots for candidates and hiring managers by leading all aspects of the candidate interview process, as well as providing support in the execution of our recruiting events when needed. You will communicate effectively with candidates to inform them of their interview logistics, schedule phone screens, video interviews, and on-site interviews when applicable. This role will serve as a gateway to broader opportunities in Talent Acquisition, such as Recruiting, TA Operations, and work enhancing our Employer Brand.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Lead coordination, scheduling, and onboarding for corporate and executive candidates, including new hires and Officer & Director transitions
  • Ensure timely completion of all onboarding and compliance requirements, including orientation, pre-employment paperwork, and administrative tasks
  • Coordinate candidate travel, accommodations, and interview logistics
  • Welcome and support candidates for in-person interviews, ensuring a smooth and professional experience
  • Prepare and distribute interview guides and feedback forms for hiring managers and interviewers
  • Communicate effectively with hiring managers, candidates, and stakeholders at all levels
  • Engage and support talent from intern to executive, tailoring communication to the audience
  • Proactively manage calendars, ensuring meetings and priorities are scheduled for optimal efficiency
  • Submit and reconcile expense reports accurately and in accordance with company policy
  • Maintain accurate reporting within internal tools and the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) (SuccessFactors)
  • Collect and track offer letters, I-9s, payroll documents, and policy acknowledgments
  • Assist with logistics for recruiting events and internal team activities
  • Identify, test, and champion improvements to recruiting coordination processes
  • All other duties as assigned

Minimum Experience and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or Industrial-Organizational Psychology; OR demonstrated capability to perform job responsibilities with the combination of a High School Diploma/GED and at least four (4) years of previous relevant work experience
  • One (1) year of high volume corporate recruitment scheduling or coordination experience
  • Highly proficient with the Microsoft Office Outlook and MS Teams
  • Remarkable customer-service focus, with strong verbal and written communication in a matrix structure
  • Strong attention to detail while operating with a sense of urgency in a fast-paced environment with elements of ambiguity
  • Ability to be flexible and work cross-functionally across the business
  • Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and diplomacy
  • Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision, with a proactive, responsive work style
  • Attention to detail and ability to multitask
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to develop interdepartmental relationships while supporting multiple Recruiters and Hiring Managers while offering a high degree of service
  • Strong organizational, analytical, coordination, and follow-through skills
  • Valid travel documents with the ability to travel in and out of the United States
  • Available for overnight travel (15%)
  • Must pass a pre-employment drug test
  • Must be legally eligible to work in the country in which the position is located
  • Authorization to work in the US is required. This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship

 Preferred Experience and Qualifications

  • Executive scheduling experience
  • Knowledge of Human Resources/Success Factors applicant tracking software

  • Regular attendance and punctuality
  • Potential need to work flexible hours and be available to respond on short notice
  • Able to maintain a professional appearance
  • When working or traveling on JetBlue flights, and if time permits, all capable crewmembers are asked to assist with light cleaning of the aircraft

  • Promote JetBlue's #1 value of safety as a Safety Ambassador, supporting JetBlue's Safety Management System (SMS) components, Safety Policy, and behavioral standards
  • Identify safety and/or security concerns, issues, incidents, or hazards that should be reported and report them whenever possible and by any means necessary including JetBlue's confidential reporting systems (Aviation Safety Action Program (ASAP) or Safety Action Report (SAR))
  • The use of ChatGPT or any other automated tool during the interview process will disqualify a candidate from being considered for the position.

Compensation: 

  • The base pay range for this position is between $64,350.00 and $77,800.00 per year. Base pay is one component of JetBlue’s total compensation package, which may also include access to healthcare benefits, a 401(k) plan and company match, crewmember stock purchase plan, short-term and long-term disability coverage, basic life insurance, free space available travel on JetBlue, and more
