Position Title: Coordinator, Security (Support Center)

Position Summary
The Coordinator provides daily coverage of the main corporate security reception desk and ID badging station at the assigned Support Center. The Coordinator greets and assists all visitors, guests, Crewmembers, Business Partners and Customers upon arrival. As the company’s primary point of contact at the support center, the Coordinator provides customer service and guidance to all those arriving to conduct business with JetBlue. In addition to verifying identity and purpose of visit, the Coordinator communicates the arrival of all visitors and facilitates their timely and secure transfer. Additionally, the coordinator provides employee badge printing and access assistance.
Essential Responsibilities
- Greet, verify identity and assist all visitors, Crewmembers and Business Partners arriving at the Support Center and provide security concierge support.
- Ensure effective, courteous and timely communication between all arriving and receiving entities as the frontline representative of both JetBlue and Corporate Security.
- Ability to work with Visitor Management Software and corresponding emails effectively.
- Interface effectively with building management and its contract guard service to enhance overall building security.
- Provide employee ID badge printing and access allocations as required by policy.
- Ability to work with and process service tickets effectively.
- Provide assistance as needed at regional support centers. (overnight travel will be required)
- Maintain liaison with local law enforcement as needed.
- Ensure adherence to all Safety and Security regulations
- All other duties as assigned
Minimum Experience and Qualifications
- High School Diploma or General Education Development (GED) Diploma
- One (1) year of experience in military service, airline experience, law enforcement, or corporate security
- Must be able to operate computer proficiently in order to utilize security system programs and email
- Able to answer telephone calls and personal interactions in a polite and professional manner
- Complete fluency in written and spoken English
- Must be able to work flexible assigned shifts, including holidays and weekends
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality
- Available for occasional overnight travel (25%)
- Pass a ten (10) year background check and pre-employment drug test
- Legally eligible to work in the country in which the position is located
- Authorization to work in the US is required, this position is not eligible for visa sponsorship
Preferred Experience and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in related discipline
- Five (5) years of experience in law enforcement and/or corporate security and/or Military Experience
- Experience supporting CCTV, visitor management systems, access control, ID media badging systems.
- Knowledge MS SharePoint, and Office.
- Bilingual (Spanish)
Crewmember Expectations:
- Regular attendance and punctuality
- Will need to work flexible hours with the ability for early morning or late evening assignments.
- Able to maintain a professional polished appearance
- When working or traveling on JetBlue flights, and if time permits, all capable crewmembers are asked to assist with light cleaning of the aircraft

- Identify and recall JetBlue’s Safety Management System (SMS), Safety Policy, Security Policy and behavioral standards
