Coordinator Product Analysis 

Position Summary:

The Coordinator Product Analysis supports the financial and analytical operations of JetBlue’s Product Development team within Marketing and Brand. This role will report to the Manager of Product Analysis. The Coordinator will help drive strategic alignment across the Product team by providing budget and financial tracking, analysis, and internal reporting across various strategic initiatives. This role is responsible for maintaining accurate budget tracking, revenue and cost forecasting, and financial reporting to support JetBlue’s product strategy and performance goals.

 

In this unique role, the Coordinator is responsible for maintaining accurate cost and revenue forecasts, implementing and tracking cost savings and revenue generating programs, and other financial-related tasks as required. Additionally, the role will support the development and implementation of new product and service strategies and provide project management and business case support. The Coordinator will work with the Manager of Product Analysis and the Product Development team to develop internal communications that clearly articulate how these initiatives support JetBlue’s broader strategy.

 

The ideal candidate has a passion for aviation and has highly developed quantitative, interpersonal, and communication skills. The Coordinator should be extremely organized, detail-oriented, and possess the ability to prioritize effectively. The Coordinator plays a key role in ensuring financial discipline and operational alignment across the Product Development organization. Essential Responsibilities:

  • Create financial models, business cases, and provide support for new Product initiatives
  • Support the Product leadership team in reporting Executive Level summaries to leadership
    • Work with Product Development team and Business Partners to evaluate strategies to lower cost and/or increase revenue for JetBlue
    • Track contractual commitments made by Product Leadership for regular compliance reporting
    • Serve as a point of contact for coordinating key cross-functional initiatives and projects with internal partners (e.g., Strategic Sourcing, Inflight, Catering, Finance, Accounting, Operations, Fuel)
    • Support with financial reporting and analysis of performance vs budget, month-end accruals, and modeling to support ongoing decision making
    • Manage invoices and process payments
  • Participate in cross-functional product tests, test-flights and pack out sessions to ensure proper execution and consistent product inventory throughout the network
  • Provide day-to-day administrative and analytical support to the Senior Manager of Onboard and Ground Experience to ensure smooth execution of financial and project management processes
  • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive financial data and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
  • Other duties as assigned

Minimum Experience and Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Business or a related field; OR a demonstrated capability to perform job responsibilities with a High School Diploma/GED and four (4) years of relevant work experience
    • One (1) year of previous relevant work experience
    • Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills
    • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
    • Proficient in financial, quantitative, and analytical skills
    • Available for occasional overnight travel (10%)
    • Able to pass pre-employment drug test
    • Legally eligible to work in the country in which the position is located
    • Authorization to work in the US is required, this position is not eligible for visa sponsorship

Preferred Experience and Qualifications:

    • Three (3) years of analytical experience in aviation, finance, management consulting, or a related field, preferably in the airline industry.
    • Working knowledge of all the areas within Product Development and/or Catering fields.
    • Strong project management skills
    • Passion for airline industry and operations
    • Ability to work well with all levels of leadership

Crewmember Expectations:

    • Regular attendance and punctuality
    • Potential need to work flexible hours and be available to respond on short-notice
    • Able to maintain a professional appearance
    • When working or traveling on JetBlue flights, and if time permits, all capable crewmembers are asked to assist with light cleaning of the aircraft
    • Must be an appropriate organizational fit for the JetBlue culture, that is, exhibit the JetBlue values of Safety, Caring, Integrity, Passion and Fun
    • Promote JetBlue’s #1 value of safety as a Safety Ambassador, supporting JetBlue’s Safety Management System (SMS) components, Safety Policy and behavioral standards
    • Identify safety and/or security concerns, issues, incidents or hazards that should be reported and report them whenever possible and by any means necessary including JetBlue’s confidential reporting systems (Aviation Safety Action Program (ASAP) or Safety Action Report (SAR))
    • The use of ChatGPT or any other automated tool during the interview process will disqualify a candidate from being considered for the position.

Compensation:

    • The base pay range for this position is between $64,350.00 and $77,800.00 per year. Base pay is one component of JetBlue’s total compensation package, which may also include access to healthcare benefits, a 401(k) plan and company match, crewmember stock purchase plan, short-term and long-term disability coverage, basic life insurance, free space available travel on JetBlue, and more
