Position Title: Analyst Talent Management

Position Summary: 

The Analyst Talent Management is responsible for assisting with the execution in Talent focusing on a broad array of career programs, including JetBlue Emerging Talent (JET) Programming, internal movements, talent planning discussion along with providing content in career development for the company. This position will proactively collaborates with Crew leaders and Crewmembers to provide support to ensure our programs are successful in providing resources in developing our Talent.  

Essential Responsibilities: 

  • Serve as a core team member of Talent Management, focusing broadly on implementation of internal Talent programs (e.g. position expectations, internal movements, career navigation programs) 
  • Act as a liaison to coordinate and facilitate events for JET Programming and career program initiatives with Crewmembers and Crewleaders 
  • Assist with a variety of internal movements projects and ad hoc requests including internal mobility and development discussion in partnership other Talent teams and various stakeholders 
  • Support JET Programming by coordinating presentations with leaders, assist with different training events, hosting or networking opportunities with Crewleaders. 
  • Provide project support including scheduling, drafting communications, preparing materials and responding to Crewmembers inquiries  
  • Assist in developing and maintaining a repository of career development resources that is available on intranet 
  • Develop and deliver communication (emails, awareness campaigns, etc.) and training to ensure we foster positive change in the implementation and support for our early career strategy  
  • Research “best practice” approaches and recommend new and creative ways and to administer and revise our talent programs   
  • Other duties as assigned 

Minimum Experience and Qualifications:  

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Organizational Development or related field  
  • One (1) year Business and/or Human Resources experience 
  • Knowledge of SharePoint, Outlook and Microsoft Office  
  • Experience organizing/coordinating multiple projects while providing exceptional customer service 
  • Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and diplomacy 
  • Attention to detail in composing and creating reports  
  • Available for occasional overnight travel (10%) 
  • Able to pass a ten (10) year background check and pre-employment drug test 
  • Legally eligible to work in the country in which the position is located  

Preferred Experience and Qualifications: 

  • Master’s Degree in Business, HR or I/O or S/O Psychology  
  • Professional Human Resources Certification (PHR)  
  • One (1) year  experience working in Talent Management  
  • Experience with talent program management (i.e. Performance Management, Job Descriptions, Interns, Succession Planning, etc.)  
  • Support in developing or creating and delivering communication (emails, awareness campaigns, etc.) to help foster positive change in the implementation and support for Talent Management Programs 
  • Facilitating presentations in front of large groups 
  • Creating and presenting Talent related training, materials and team updates  
  • Experience with job description preparation and job evaluation  
  • Interacting daily with people at different levels within the organization, including developing and maintaining ongoing relationships  
  • Providing high-quality customer service in a matrix structure with a commitment to meeting or exceeding expectations 

Crewmember Expectations:  

  • Regular attendance and punctuality  
  • Potential need to work flexible hours and be available to respond on short-notice 
  • Well-groomed and able to maintain a professional appearance 
  • When working or traveling on JetBlue flights, and if time permits, all capable crewmembers are asked to assist with light cleaning of the aircraft
