Position Summary:
The Analyst, Strategy is responsible for supporting the JetForward Acceleration Team (JAT), the strategy team and senior leadership in the development, implementation, and tracking of the JetForward plan. In this multi-functional role, the Analyst will support the Manager and other Strategy team members in workstream execution, ensuring strong governance, use of the KEY system, and timely delivery of initiatives. The Analyst may also support the strategy team with industry, competitive and/or financial analysis that supports the JetForward plan. This role involves cross-functional collaboration, supporting senior management, and preparing board-level materials.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Support the JAT (JetForward Acceleration Team) relationships within identified workstreams, ensuring strong governance and effective use of KEY to track and deliver these workstreams.
- Support the execution of strategic initiatives and ensure alignment with the broader JetForward plan.
- Support and train users on KEY, ensuring effective adoption and usage of the system to manage workstreams.
- Collaborate with cross-functional business partners to develop both strategic and tactical initiatives that drive JetBlue’s transformation efforts.
- Prepare and deliver materials for senior leadership and board-level reporting on the progress of JetBlue’s transformation and strategy execution.
- Help identify risks within the workstreams and provide mitigation strategies to ensure successful project delivery.
- Help drive continuous improvement within the team, focusing on efficiency and effectiveness in project execution.
- Support as required complex company and industry analytical reports, including cost and revenue benchmarking and assessing competitive trends using public data sources and/or ad-hoc projects that relate to strategic and business development as required.
- Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Experience and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree; OR demonstrated capability to perform job responsibilities with a combination of a High School Diploma/GED and at least four (4) years of previous relevant work experience.
- One (1) year of experience in finance, commercial or operational roles within Aviation.
- Candidates must demonstrate Problem-Solving, Analysis, and Communication & Presentation in a work sample assessment.
- Proficient with the Microsoft Office suite, including Excel, PowerPoint, and project management tools.
- Effective written, verbal, and listening communication skills, including strong presentation skills.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to ask inquisitive questions and solve complex problems.
- Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and interact with all levels of JetBlue.
- Self-motivated with a positive self-image and the ability to work independently.
- A team player who enjoys collaboration and fostering teamwork.
- Available for overnight travel (10%).
- Must pass a pre-employment drug test

Preferred Experience and Qualifications:
- Some knowledge of airline industry trends, consumer preferences, and competitive trends.
- Some knowledge of airline industry data sources (e.g. DOT datasets, DIIO, Skailark).
- Some familiarity with change management principles and practices to ensure smooth project execution and adoption.
Crewmember Expectations:
- Regular attendance and punctuality
- Potential need to work flexible hours and be available to respond on short-notice
- Able to maintain a professional appearance
- When working or traveling on JetBlue flights, and if time permits, all capable crewmembers are asked to assist with light cleaning of the aircraft

- Promote JetBlue’s #1 value of safety as a Safety Ambassador, supporting JetBlue’s Safety Management System (SMS) components, Safety Policy, and behavioral standards
- Identify safety and/or security concerns, issues, incidents or hazards that should be reported and report them whenever possible and by any means necessary including JetBlue’s confidential reporting systems (Aviation Safety Action Program (ASAP) or Safety Action Report (SAR))

Compensation:
- The base pay range for this position is between $62,400.00 and $89,600.00 per year. Base pay is one component of JetBlue’s total compensation package, which may also include access to healthcare benefits, a 401(k) plan and company match, crewmember stock purchase plan, short-term and long-term disability coverage, basic life insurance, free space available travel on JetBlue, and more.
