Position Title: Analyst Revenue Analysis (Revenue Forecasting & Ancillary)

Position Summary 

The Analyst reports on the holistic revenue health of the company which includes Flight and Ancillary revenue streams. The Analyst will provide enhancements to improve revenue reporting and revenue accuracy, where attention to detail is key. In addition, the Analyst supports ancillary product optimization and commercial initiatives.  

Essential Responsibilities 

  • Monitor and report out on daily revenue and booking trends 

  • Produce insightful reporting from multiple data sources which drives clear decision making  

  • Streamline and improve processes to calculate flight coupons and validate revenue numbers 

  • Support monthly, quarterly and annual revenue forecast whereby aiding with the RASM guidance process  

  • Coordinate with Revenue Accounting to validate revenue calculations  

  • Perform ad hoc analysis and makes recommendations in support of revenue initiatives 

  • Provide direct support to leadership requests 

  • Other duties as assigned  

Minimum Experience and Qualifications 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Mathematics, Statistics or relevant field 

  • One (1) year of analytical or quantitative experience 

  • Excellent analytical skills 

  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment 

  • Experience with analyzing large datasets 

  • Skilled in array of analysis tools (i.e. Access, Excel, SQL) 

  • Ability to learn new computer programs and applications  

  • Pass a ten (10) year background check and pre-employment drug test  

  • Legally eligible to work in the country in which the position is located  

Preferred Experience and Qualifications 

  • Fluent in SQL coding language 

  • Modeling and/or forecasting experience 

  • Experience with Spotfire or Tableau business intelligence tools 

  • Knowledge of programming languages (i.e. R, Python, SAS,VBA)  

  • Experience within airline/travel industry

  • Regular attendance and punctuality  

  • Potential need to work flexible hours and be available to respond on short-notice 

  • Well-groomed and able to maintain a professional appearance 

  • When working or traveling on JetBlue flights, and if time permits, all capable crewmembers are asked to assist with light cleaning of the aircraft
