Position Summary

The Analyst, Marketing Insights reports to the Manager, Marketing Analytics and is responsible for informing optimization efforts and performance tracking of marketing channels. This role partners closely with Marketing leads by delivering clear, actionable reporting on customer acquisition trends, channel performance, and long-lead KPI tracking through recurring and weekly reporting.

 

The Analyst is passionate about understanding customer behavior through data, thinking creatively about how channels and tactics perform across customer segments. This role also supports decision-making by translating performance data into clear insights and recommendations. The Analyst is a service-oriented individual who is interested in accessing and acting upon media data and exhibits the JetBlue values of Safety, Caring, Integrity, Passion, and Fun.

 

Essential Responsibilities

  • Generate regular reports and dashboards to monitor marketing performance at the overall and channel/region/creative level.
  • Analyze marketing performance through a customer segmentation lens, evaluating how each segment performs across channels and campaigns.
  • Partner with channel owners to identify optimization opportunities based on KPIs and audience health.
  • Conduct in-depth analyses on KPIs over time to identify performance drivers and opportunities to drive revenue growth.
  • Aggregate insights across platforms and contribute to presentations and regular performance readouts for Marketing leaders and cross-functional teams.
  • Perform ad-hoc analysis as needed to support business objectives, A/B testing efforts, and decision-making.
  • Identify measurement enhancement opportunities by proposing new metrics, documenting requirements, and partnering with analytics and marketing stakeholders on implementation.
  • Assist with ad-hoc requests for customer information, leveraging reporting and dashboard tools
  • Other duties as required

 

Minimum Experience and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business or relevant field; OR demonstrated capability to perform job responsibilities with a High School Diploma/GED and at least four (4) years of previous relevant work experience
  • One (1) year of experience in data analysis and/or dashboard creation
  • One (1) year of experience in website or media analytics (e.g. Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics, Meta)
  • Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
  • High attention to detail with the ability to think critically
  • Must possess a strong sense of urgency and be able to effectively manage deadlines
  • Ability to think at a high strategic level as well as have strong attention to detail
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office software
  • Strong level of familiarity with the JetBlue brand and the JetBlue Customer
  • Available for occasional overnight travel (10%)
  • Must pass a pre-employment drug test
  • Must be legally eligible to work in the country in which the position is located
  • Authorization to work in the US is required, this position is not eligible for visa sponsorship

 

Preferred Experience and Qualifications

  • Previous airline or marketing agency experience
  • Two (2) years of media analytics experience
  • Experience with Google and Meta advertising campaign data
  • Experience with creating dashboards incorporating multiple data streams and partners
  • Prioritizing/leading multiple projects while providing exceptional customer service
  • Developing relationships with people at different levels and teams within an organization
  • Knowledge of SQL, Python/R, data visualization tools (e.g. Looker, Tableau), advanced Excel, or HTML

  • Regular attendance and punctuality
  • Potential need to work flexible hours and be available to respond on short-notice
  • Able to maintain a professional appearance
  • When working or traveling on JetBlue flights, and if time permits, all capable crewmembers are asked to assist with light cleaning of the aircraft

  • Promote JetBlue’s #1 value of safety as a Safety Ambassador, supporting JetBlue’s Safety
  • Management System (SMS) components, Safety Policy and behavioral standards
  • Identify safety and security concerns, issues, incidents or hazards that should be reported and report them whenever possible and by any means necessary including JetBlue’s confidential reporting systems (Aviation Safety Action Program (ASAP) or Safety Action Report (SAR))
  • The use of ChatGPT or any other automated tool during the interview process will disqualify a candidate from being considered for the position

Compensation 

  • The base pay range for this position is between $64,350 and $89,600 per year. Base pay is one component of JetBlue’s total compensation package, which may also include performance bonuses, restricted stock units, as well as access to healthcare benefits, a 401(k) plan and company match, crewmember stock purchase plan, short-term and long-term disability coverage, basic life insurance, free space available travel on JetBlue, and more.
