Title: Analyst International Operations

Position Summary:
The Analyst International Operations reports to the Manager Dispatch Standards and is primarily responsible for reconciling, auditing, and processing all monthly Air Navigation, Overfly, and Airport Approach fees. The Analyst collaborates regularly with the International Air Transport Association (IATA) to maintain a current record of rates and charges for all Air Navigation Service Providers (ANSPs) and develops tools and resources to mitigate overflight costs wherever possible. Additionally, the Analyst liaises regularly with Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) and Accounting to ensure the Dispatch & Air Traffic Control (ATC) forecast is properly modeled, tracked, and analyzed in accordance with the monthly financial close schedule.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Implement and maintain system and procedures to monitor and ensure all foreign overflight, ATC and other operational fees are paid correctly and on time
- Determine root cause of operational and financial inefficiencies and recommend process improvement
- Partner with Dispatch Support on a regular basis to identify opportunities for route optimization
- Maintain regular engagement with the International Air Transport Association (IATA) and other industry stakeholders to proactively assess financial risks and opportunities related to Air Navigation, Overflight, and Airport Approach fees; includes participation in an annual in-person meeting
- Develop and maintain the System Operations Air Navigation Services and Airports Approach Fee budgets
- Prepare and deliver monthly financial reports on Dispatch and Air Traffic Control (ATC) to senior leadership
- Aid with internal audits as necessary
- Other duties as assigned
Minimum Experience and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Aviation Management, Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field; OR demonstrated capability to perform job responsibilities with a combination of a High School Diploma/GED and at least four (4) years of previous relevant work experience
- One (1) year of analytical or related experience
- Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial modeling
- Candidates must complete an assessment that evaluates Spanish speaking and writing skills, using AI-driven or statistically based scoring methods.
- Ability to deliver data findings through presentations and reporting
- Knowledge of SharePoint, Outlook and Microsoft Office and other relevant software tools
- Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and diplomacy
- Available for occasional international travel (20%)
- Must be in possession of valid travel documents with the ability to travel in and out of the United States
- Must pass a pre-employment drug test
- Must be legally eligible to work in the country in which the position is located
- Authorization to work in the US is required, this position is not eligible for visa sponsorship
Preferred Experience and Qualifications:
- Three (3) years of analytical or related experience
- Ability to speak, write and read additional languages other than English and Spanish fluently
- Prior experience in Financial Planning & Analysis, Accounting, or similar role
- Prior experience in Dispatch, Coordinator Load Planning or similar role
- Strong capabilities with Microsoft Office Products: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and ability to learn other IT tools to automate some functions and store and present data effectively
- Ability to work across cultural boundaries

- Strong analytical, numerical, and reasoning skills

- When working or traveling on JetBlue flights, and if time permits, all capable crewmembers are asked to assist with light cleaning of the aircraft

Compensation:
- The base pay range for this position is between $58,500.00 and $89,600.00 per year. Base pay is one component of JetBlue’s total compensation package, which may also include access to healthcare benefits, a 401(k) plan and company match, crewmember stock purchase plan, short-term and long-term disability coverage, basic life insurance, free space available travel on JetBlue, and more.
