The Analyst Diversity Sourcing is a role embedded within the Talent Acquisition department. In this role, you will lead essential work to advance a more diverse, accessible, equitable, and inclusive JetBlue through our hiring, promotion, and inclusion practices. You will develop and implement creative, strategic sourcing strategies to identify high-quality candidates for critical positions across the organization – with a specific focus on Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion. You will apply well-developed sourcing and research skills to find passive candidates and talent pools using a wide range of traditional and non-traditional techniques.


You will exercise your creativity and initiative every day in your work, and drive collaboration in your approach to attracting world-class diverse talent internally and externally to do their very best work throughout the organization. 


Essential Responsibilities

  • Partner with Recruiters and hiring managers to understand current and forecasted hiring needs
  • Take an active role with Director and above level hiring, in defining and iterating custom diversity sourcing strategies, applying appropriate and varied approaches to match each position
  • Earn trust across a range of partners to establish yourself as the diversity sourcing expert within Talent Acquisition and across the organization
  • Partner with JetBlue's Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion team to support the organizations work progressing initiatives in this space through talent acquisition strategies
  • Develop and deliver talent sourcing strategies that include open source web intelligence gathering, data mining, x-ray, and Boolean searches, and social media engagement with a focus on executive hiring
  • Engage in timely and appropriate communications with candidates, recruiters, hiring teams, and other internal stakeholders
  • Maintain a strong understanding of the external talent landscape through market research and competitive intelligence gathering; educate recruiters and business leaders accordingly
  • Create processes to leverage diversity networks and company initiatives to drive successful referral programs
  • Ensure all search and engagement strategies comply with JetBlue policies and procedures, and with local employment laws and regulations
  • Report diversity sourcing effectiveness to senior executive leadership across the organization
  • Handle confidential information with professionalism and diplomacy
  • Effectively communicate position opportunity and client value proposition
  • Other duties as assigned


Minimum Experience and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business or related OR a High School Diploma/General Education Development (GED) with four (4) years of related work experience
  • One (1) year of Recruiting, Human Resources, or JetBlue Leadership experience
  • Knowledge of Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO), Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP), and employment laws
  • Must have valid travel documents with the ability to travel in and out of the U.S
  • Available for overnight travel (up to 15%)
  • Must pass a ten (10) year background check and pre-employment drug test
  • Legally eligible to work in the country in which the position is located


Preferred Experience and Qualifications

  • Two (2) years sourcing experience with a focus on developing diverse candidate pipelines
  • Experience developing complex search strategies to identify & attract diverse passive talent with a solid understanding and use of, but not limited to, LinkedIn, X-Ray, and Boolean searches
  • Facilitating presentations in front of large groups, including leadership
  • Proficient with Microsoft Teams
  • Experience working across different verticals filling corporate and executive positions
  • Experience managing and prioritizing multiple searches and stakeholders at the same time
  • Experience with Success Factors or similar Applicant Tracking System


Crewmember Expectations

  • Regular attendance and punctuality
  • Potential need to work flexible hours and be available to respond on short-notice
  • Well-groomed and able to maintain a professional appearance
  • When working or traveling on JetBlue flights, and if time permits, all capable crewmembers are asked to assist with light cleaning of the aircraft
