Title: Analyst Charter Operations SOC

Position Summary
The Analyst Charter Operations, SOC is responsible for executing all charter flights and providing support for the Civil Reserve Air Fleet (CRAF) program. The Analyst will partner with System Operations, Dispatch, Network Planning, Commercial Charter Team, and Crew Planning to determine and evaluate resources that can be used for charter flights. The Analyst will assist with and oversee each charter from contract execution to end of operation ensuring cross-departmental collaboration on utilization of resources for charter flights & CRAF operations.
Essential Responsibilities
- Assist in the development and delivery of training programs in coordination with JetBlue University (JBU) for the On-Board Charter Representatives
- Research and coordinate offline destinations with Ops engineering, Dispatch Support, System Operations Support, and the Director of Operations
- Maintain and update CRAF and charter manuals
- Assist with the integration of recent technology to improve CRAF and charter operations
- Maintain a constant liaison with all internal and external CRAF and charter business partners
- Partner with operational counterparts to develop a plan for CRAF and charter operations
- Brief senior leadership and all applicable departments on upcoming charters and CRAF programs
- Oversee logistics for each charter flight including fueling, crew hotels, ground transportation, security, and maintenance support
- Coordinate all charter contracts with the commercial charter team and JetBlue legal dept.
- Coordinate with the finance department all financial requirements for billing and reconciliation of each charter
- Other duties as assigned
Minimum Experience and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field; OR demonstrated capability to perform job responsibilities with a High School Diploma/GED and at least four (4) years of previous relevant work experience
- One (1) year of analytical experience
- One (1) year experience working with charter operations
- Strong financial acumen
- Must be able to acquire and maintain Department of Defense (DOD) Secret Clearance
- Available for occasional overnight travel (10%)
- Must pass a pre-employment drug test
- Must be legally eligible to work in the country in which the position is located
- Authorization to work in the US is required, this position is not eligible for visa sponsorship
Preferred Experience and Qualifications
- Three (3) years of analytical experience
- Knowledge of System Operations, Crew Services, Maintenance Control, and Flight Dispatch
- Experience working in airline and charter operations
- Experience working on Operational, Safety and Financial audits
- Experience leading cross departmental projects
- Managing an operating budget
- Previous experience negotiating contracts

- When working or traveling on JetBlue flights, and if time permits, all capable crewmembers are asked to assist with light cleaning of the aircraft

Work Environment
- A flexible work schedule is required to cover the charter operation 24 hours per day, 7 days per week
- Varying shift hours are required depending on the time of scheduled or adhoc charter operations
- May need to adjust days off frequently on an as needed basis to support the operation

Compensation:
- The base pay range for this position is between $64,350.00 and $89,600.00 per year. Base pay is one component of JetBlue’s total compensation package, which may also include access to healthcare benefits, a 401(k) plan and company match, crewmember stock purchase plan, short-term and long-term disability coverage, basic life insurance, free space available travel on JetBlue, and more.
