Position Summary

The Analyst Airport Services & Analysis plays an integral role in leading the network wide Fuel, Cargo and Airport Analytical operation at JetBlue. The Analyst is instrumental in assuring that quality standards, policies and procedures are followed by all internal and external stakeholders. The Analyst tracks the level of service JetBlue receives from external parties as its relates to Fueling and Cargo and ensures consistency in service delivery through the use of contractual stipulations and daily Business Partner management at our 100+ airports. The position focuses on preserving JetBlue’s advantageous cost structure, as the Analyst is responsible for reviewing various savings opportunities in the Airports organization and their execution. This position oversees all internal Fueling and Cargo operations for the entire JetBlue network.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Provide complete and thorough oversight of the JetBlue Fueling and Cargo operations by liaising with government regulatory agencies, Business Partners and local JetBlue station crewmembers and leadership.
  • Provide recommendations for improvement as needed with the ability to take appropriate actions ensuring excellent results including system enhancements, BlueCity logistics and equipment. 
  • Monitor all import/transfer/export activity by station. 
  • Monitoring all metrics, SLAs and KPIs associated with our operation.
  • Troubleshoot areas that are experiencing difficulty and supervise the execution of corrective action.
  • Forecast potential issues and action pro-actively to mitigate impact.
  • Represent JetBlue Fuel and Cargo at all regulatory and company audits as needed.
  • Work with  Internal Fuel and Cargo Customers in the field as well as Business Partners to coordinate best service level standards
  • Oversee daily load planning activity and coordination with Internal and External Cargo Customers in the movement of requested materials
  • Conduct air waybill and station audits.
  • Other duties as assigned

Minimum Experience and Qualifications

  • Bachelors Degree from an accredited University in operations or business management.
  • Must be able to acquire and maintain a valid Security Identification Display Area (SIDA) Badge
  • Depending on location, may need to acquire and maintain a United States Customs Clearance
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office suite – emphasis on Word and Excel
  • Excellent writing skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and telephone skills
  • Available for frequent overnight travel – up to 50%
  • Must be legally eligible to work in the country in which the position is located
  • Must pass a ten (10) year background check and pre-employment drug test

Preferred Experience and Qualifications

  • Two (2) years of experience in an airport operations environment
  • Cargo or fueling agent experience
  • iCargo or i6 application experience
  • Previous experience working in a matrix organization to deliver outcomes

  • Regular attendance and punctuality
  • Potential need to work flexible hours and be available to respond on short-notice
  • Well groomed and able to maintain a professional appearance
  • When working or traveling on JetBlue flights, and if time permits, all capable crewmembers are asked to assist with light cleaning of the aircraft

  • Identify safety concerns, issues, incidents or hazards that should be reported and report them whenever possible and by any means necessary including JetBlue’s confidential reporting systems (Aviation Safety Action Program (ASAP) or Safety Action Report(SAR))
