Position Summary: 

As a JetBlue Airways subsidiary, Paisly oversees non-air travel products including JetBlue Vacations, travel insurance, car rentals, hotel stays, and cruises and MileagePlus Travel ancillary travel products. 

 

The Lead, Paid Media spearheads the end-to-end execution, optimization and analysis of multi-channel paid media campaigns, reporting directly to the Senior Manager of Paid Media. Partnering closely with Data Analytics and Creative, this role uses data-driven insights to elevate campaign performance and inform executive reporting. 

 

Through experiential learning, the ideal candidate will gain firsthand insight into the inner workings of a digital travel company, collaborating across teams to understand our business and strengthen it through open, thoughtful dialogue. Essential Responsibilities: 

  • Track campaign results against core key performance indicators (KPIs) and return on investment to pinpoint optimization opportunities alongside leadership. 

  • Leverage data analytics to uncover actionable insights and inform high-level strategy. 

  • Present weekly performance updates to executive leadership, emphasizing actionable insights, team progress and key metrics. 

  • Assist in formulation and execution of integrated paid media strategies. 

  • Collaborate with the Creative team to generate high-performing, captivating campaign assets. 

  • Work with the Data Analytics team to address technical issues, oversee media tagging and tracking. 

  • Unify disparate cross-channel metrics to evaluate and optimize overall campaign performance. 

  • Sharpen audience segmentation to improve targeting accuracy and ad spend efficiency.  

  • Partner with external agencies for creative testing and comprehensive multi-channel A/B testing plans. 

  • Perform comprehensive market and competitive analysis to discover growth opportunities. 

  • Maintain well-organized, complete archives of historical campaign records and documentation. 

  • Execute additional related duties and assignments as needed. 

 

Minimum Experience and Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s Degree; OR demonstrated capability to perform job responsibilities with a High School Diploma/GED and at least four (4) years of combined previous education and work experience. 

  • Four (4)years of agency or client-side paid media roles. 

  • Proficient with Google and Microsoft Office suites. 

  • Proficient in Google Analytics, able to read, interpret and analyze complex data sets using multiple tools including but not limited to Google Data Studio. 

  • Experience managing and executing paid campaigns across Paid Search, Paid Social, Affiliate, Programmatic, Out of Home, Influencer Marketing, etc. 

  • Ability to use advanced methodologies to create and analyze paid media experiments.  

  • Understanding of statistical significance when reporting on these experiments. 

  • Understanding of strategic media/marketing principles and ability to link commercial strategy to media strategy. 

  • Understanding of financial concepts and how paid media affects each such as commissions revenue structure and incrementality.  

  • Demonstrates a broad understanding of paid media best practices, brings a knowledge of products/services to be used in this role and can articulate pros and cons of each. 

  • Excellent communication skills. 

  • Ability to meet tight deadlines and handle multiple projects simultaneously. 

  • Strong attention to detail with meticulous archiving of campaign documentation including uniform resource locator (URLs), Ad Copy, tracking urchin tracking modules (UTMs). 

  • Ability to build and nurture cross-functional relationships 

  • Can thrive in a dynamic and face-paced work environment.  

  • Available for occasional overnight travel (10%). 

  • Must pass a ten (10) year background check. 

  • Must be legally eligible to work in the country in which the position is located. 

  • Authorization to work in the US is required. This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship. 

 

Preferred Experience and Qualifications:  

  • Previous travel and hospitality marketing experience. 

  • Seven (7) years of agency or client-side paid media roles. 

 

Crewmember Expectations: 

  • Regular attendance and punctuality.  

  • Potential need to work flexible hours and be available to respond on short notice. 

  • Able to maintain a professional appearance. 

  • When working or traveling on JetBlue flights, and if time permits, all capable crewmembers are asked to assist with light cleaning of the aircraft. 

  • Available for occasional overnight travel. 

  • The use of ChatGPT or any other automated tool during the interview process will disqualify a candidate from being considered for the position.

Work Environment:  

  • Traditional office environment. 

  • In-office role (3 Days a week)
