Title: Junior Engineer, Product Release (Paisly)

Position Summary:
The Paisly Junior Engineer, Product Release works with the Paisly Technology team to implement and execute build management and product release processes. The role works toward managing the source code management system, automating the build process and regression testing, building tools and monitoring product implementations. The ideal candidate establishes procedures and develops tools that are used to deliver software using a repeatable and scalable process and is responsible for complex design, development, unit testing, documentation and ongoing support of Paisly.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Support design, code, debug and document of Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) process using industry standards adjusted for the custom requirements.
- Assist in innovating tools/practices/processes that allow for the fine tuning of the delivery process.
- Configure and maintain processes within Jira, Confluence and GitHub instances.
- Maintain and configure Google workspace for the organization.
- Maintain and configure Apple devices using Jamf.
- Check and resolve any security related items as they arrive.
- Work with the tech and broader team on achieving and maintaining compliance status for Payment Card Industry (PCI), National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST), California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
- Service desk rotation to assist Paisly crewmembers with any issues.
- Assist Software Engineers with maintaining CI components for NodeJS/react, java and python using Google Cloud Platform (GCP) Cloudbuild.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define specifications and requirements for all internal and external development.
- Perform code reviews to ensure high quality and consistent coding practices.
- Work with Software Engineers in creating and maintaining unit test processes and results delivery.
- Be part of the on-call team to help resolve issues with the customer facing and support applications.
- Other complex projects and duties as assigned.
Minimum Experience and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline; OR demonstrated capability to perform job responsibilities with a combination of a High School Diploma/GED and at least four (4) years of previous relevant work experience.
- Two (2) years of overall experience working with infrastructure and/or Development teams to build enterprise-scale application integration solutions.
- Experience with Bash, Terraform, Jinja, YAML, RESTful APIs, basic understanding of network stack and network security.
- Experience with Git VCS, Terraform, Jira, Linux OS, MacOS, Jamf, Google Workspace, GKE, Appengine, Cloudrun, Knative, and Istio.
- Familiarity with Continuous Integration process.
- Familiarity with Continuous Delivery process.
- Available for moderate overnight travel (up to 10%).
- Able to work flexible hours and be available for emergency response on short notice.
- Must pass a ten (10) year background check.
- Must be legally eligible to work in the country in which the position is located.
- Authorization to work in the US is required. This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship.
Preferred Experience and Qualifications:
- Thorough knowledge of business function and business operations, objectives and strategies.
- Thorough familiarity working with Cloudrun, Knative, and Istio.

- Able to maintain a professional appearance.
- When working or traveling on JetBlue flights, and if time permits, all capable crewmembers are asked to assist with light cleaning of the aircraft.
