Position Summary
The Junior Analyst, Cloud Engineering Compliance provides operational, administrative and research support for Paisly’s technical compliance, governance and audit readiness programs. Reporting directly to the Manager, Cloud Engineering Compliance, this role assists with day-to-day evidence collection, maintaining compliance platforms, supporting vendor and business partner (BP) risk management, tracking technical obligations and supporting research for operational initiatives and international business growth. The ideal candidate is an organized, proactive team player eager to learn technical compliance operations, support internal controls and balance concurrent tasks across technical teams.
Essential Responsibilities

Support the collection, organization and archiving of documentation and evidence for internal and external audits, assessments and certifications, such as SOC 2, ISO and PCI-DSS.

Responsible for supporting third-party and vendor risk management activities, which includes sending, tracking and collecting vendor compliance questionnaires, SOC reports and security assessment documentation.

Support the day-to-day maintenance of Paisly's Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC) platform by logging compliance evidence and updating control statuses.

Maintain internal task trackers, regulatory logs, ticketing queues and remediation plans while simultaneously managing multiple administrative requests in a fast-paced environment.

Responsible for performing foundational research and documenting technical compliance considerations, data handling needs and operational requirements to support cross-border product rollouts and new market initiatives.

Assist with routine administrative checks and periodic monitoring of technical security controls, access logs and system documentation.

Coordinate meeting logistics, record action items and maintain central repository documentation for cross-functional initiatives involving engineering, security, product and legal teams.

Tasked with preparing compliance reporting materials, updating routine technical policies and tracking team completion rates for technical compliance training programs.

Minimum Experience and Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Risk Management, Business Administration, or a related field; OR High School Diploma/GED and at least four (4) years of previous relevant work experience

One (1) year of foundational experience in technical compliance, operational risk, or information security support.

Basic understanding of general data privacy concepts and technical security fundamentals.

Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail for handling records and balancing concurrent responsibilities.

Effective written and verbal communication skills with ability to work cross-functionally with legal, security, data, product and engineering teams.

Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion and integrity.

Available for occasional overnight travel (10%).

Must pass a ten (10) year background check.

Must be legally eligible to work in the country in which the position is located.

Preferred Experience and Qualifications

Familiarity with GRC platforms (e.g., Drata, OneTrust, Vanta), task-tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence), or cloud environments (e.g., Amazon Web Services (AWS), Azure, Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

General awareness of global data privacy principles, international data transfer considerations, or multi-jurisdictional compliance concepts.

Prior exposure to third-party vendor risk assessments, security questionnaires, or business partner compliance workflows.

Interest in pursuing entry-level technical, security, or compliance certifications (e.g., CompTIA Security+, AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner, Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP)/US, or similar).

Prior internship or entry-level experience within a technology, e-commerce, or cloud-focused business environment.

Experience coordinating internal or external audits.
