Position Summary: 

The Coordinator Merchandising & Website, JetBlue Travel Products (JTP) is dedicated to the optimization and maintenance of JetBlue Vacations’ website and mobile experience, and supports all content related to the website and mobile platforms. As a coordinator, this crewmember will be responsible for the placement of products and supporting the team’s Demand Generation initiatives through messaging on the marketing website. The crewmember will require the organizational skills to manage cross functional teams and merchandising knowledge to strategize offer placements.  The ideal candidate will assist with merchandising technology enhancements to the website, ensuring they occur successfully and on-time, while also owning key audits of our customer journey and partner experience to ensure consistency and report insights and improvement.

Essential Responsibilities: 

  • Manage the Content Management System (CMS) of the Vacations website in order to optimize the merchandising of products through updating content and pricing. 

  • Oversee the Vacations website and work with internal/external stakeholders/partners to ensure that the funnel is optimized from a usability and conversion standpoint. 

  • Utilize reporting and insights on property and destination performance to ensure merchandising of the highest converting product offers. 

  • Responsible for generating high search volume through use of merchandising tactics. 

  • Create and maintain well-designed and user-friendly landing pages. 

  • Assist with the Search Engine Optimization (SEO) by implementing strategies and related tactics to improve organic rankings. 

  • Coordinate with the UX Designer to ensure merchandising and CMS needs are reflected in the designs. 

  • Ensure product placement, offering, imagery and messaging is efficiently placed on the website. 

  • Support and manage cross-functional teams to enforce merchandising strategy across Product Operations, Hotel Contracting, Marketing and Tech Teams for consistency. 

  • Assist with building scalable processes using a combination of documentation (SOPs) and automation. 

  • Provides necessary support to peer groups across the JTP organization. 

  • Other complex projects and duties as assigned. 

Minimum Experience and Qualifications: 

  • High School Diploma or General Education Development (GED) Diploma. 

  • One (1) year of ecommerce or retail merchandising, business development, partnership management, business analysis, and/or project management experience. 

  • Basic HTML knowledge, dexterity talking to IT/programmers, familiar with Photoshop, and high level proficiency with Content Management Systems (CMS). 

  • Ability to be flexible, multi-task, prioritize, and manage multiple activities simultaneously in a fast-paced, changing environment. 

  • Must possess a strong sense of urgency and be able to effectively manage deadlines. 

  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment. 

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite & Google Products.  

  • Experience with business analysis using Excel, Spreadsheets, etc. 

  • Flexible and able to work at any time, including nights, weekends and holidays. 

  • Available for up to 30% overnight travel between support centers in NYC, Salt Lake City and Orlando as well as partner meetings. 

  • Self-motivated and flexible to a constantly changing environment. 

  • Effective research skills, including the ability to analyze information and make strategic decisions in accordance with company guidelines. 

  • Able to pass a ten (10) year background check and pre-employment drug test. 

  • Legally eligible to work in the country in which the position is located. 

Preferred Experience and Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s Degree or four (4) years of relevant work experience  

  • Knowledge of ecommerce & online travel industry.  

  • Experience mapping out and understanding digital customer journeys.

  • Regular attendance and punctuality. 

  • Potential need to work flexible hours and be available to respond on short-notice. 

  • Well-groomed and able to maintain a professional appearance. 

  • When working or traveling on JetBlue flights, and if time permits, all capable crewmembers are asked to assist with light cleaning of the aircraft.
