Position Summary: 

The Analyst Web Content is responsible for the creation and implementation of web content for the JetBlue Vacations and TrueBlue Travel websites.  Content will be engaging and align with the brand strategy and address the needs of various user groups. Content and landing page usage will be implemented in partnership with the Senior Manager of Search Engine Optimization (SEO). This role reports into the Manager Marketing for Paisly. The ideal candidate will bring a balance of technical know-how and a collaborative spirit.  

 

Essential Responsibilities: 

  • Responsible for leveraging various Content Management Systems (CMS) platforms to implement web content across the various landing pages; websites. 

  • Writes, proofreads, and edits content. Develops and manages an editorial calendar to ensure timely content and collaborates with creative team to ensure consistent brand messages across all channels. 

  • Uses SEO tactics as dictated by Senior Manager, SEO and CMS to maximize search rankings, optimize content, and analyze user engagement, working closely with a technical team to maintain site standards. 

  • Meticulous attention to detail to ensure accurate and error-free publishing of live website content. 

  • Conduct regular quality assurance (QA) checks of content and troubleshooting website errors. Open tickets with the Tech team when issues are identified. 

  • Collaborate with product marketing Sr. Analyst and content Analyst to align on content hierarchy to maximize co-op opportunities and campaign goals. 

  • Partner with JetBlue teams to request promotional and brand placements on their channels: app, TrueBlue portal and homepage. 

  • Provide recommendations for content updates and enhancements based on brand needs and performance data. 

  • Other complex projects and duties as assigned. 

 

Minimum Experience and Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing; OR High School Diploma or General Education Development (GED) and at least two (2) years of previous relevant work experience in a related field. 

  • Two (2) years in a role overseeing web content.  

  • Strong project management skills. 

  • Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. 

  • Knowledge of working in a project management tool like Asana, Jira. 

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.  

  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work across a wide range of departments and teams. 

  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. 

  • Available for occasional overnight travel (10%).  

  • Must pass a ten (10) year background check. 

  • Must be legally eligible to work in the country in which the position is located.   

  • Authorization to work in the US is required, this position is not eligible for visa sponsorship. 

 

Preferred Experience and Qualifications: 

  • Experience performing similar duties ideally for a travel brand. 

 

Crewmember Expectations: 

  • Regular attendance and punctuality. 

  • Potential need to work flexible hours and be available to respond on short-notice. 

  • Able to maintain a professional appearance. 

  • Must be an appropriate organizational fit for the JetBlue culture, that is, exhibit the JetBlue values of Safety, Caring, Integrity, Passion and Fun. 

  • When working or traveling on JetBlue flights, and if time permits, all capable crewmembers are asked to assist with light cleaning of the aircraft. 

  • Available for occasional overnight travel.
