Position Summary: 

The JetBlue Travel Products (JTP) Pricing and Revenue Analyst works with Finance, Commercial and Data Analysis to maximize price competitiveness, driving data-driven decision-making to optimize profitability on our packaged products. They participate in ongoing analytics of competitive pricing, demand, market share, product availability and booking activity to build regular (monthly or more often) revenue forecasts. The Analyst, with guidance from the FP&A and Pricing Manager, is responsible for managing markups and/or margins in our respective selling platforms, proactively responding to changes in market trends and competitive position. The Analyst helps prepare presentations for senior leadership, which may include JetBlue finance and revenue analysis partners, compiling and communicating monthly, quarterly and annual variance analysis and assisting with various ad hoc analyses as necessary. 

Essential Responsibilities: 

  • Collaborates with FP&A and Pricing Manager to develop processes and analyses in support of new pricing strategies, including executing controlled markup tests to study customer price elasticity of demand. 

  • Actively monitors price competitiveness through data feeds, competitor searches and related analyses and provides recommendations for margin adjustments. 

  • Compiles monthly revenue forecast, aligning with JTP leadership and communicating to JetBlue partners. 

  • Helps develop and report on metrics to measure key pricing and financial initiatives and support real-time business decisions. 

  • Contributes to monthly, quarterly and annual presentations for senior leadership team and assists FP&A and Pricing Manager with executive and BOD-level presentations and communications. 

  • Works closely with other teams including Commercial, Marketing, Data Analytics, Accounting and JetBlue Revenue Management. 

  • Prepares ad hoc reporting and analyses and performs other complex projects and duties as assigned.  

Minimum Experience and Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Business, or other analytical field. 

  • One (1) year financial planning & analysis, pricing and/or other analytical experience. 

  • Excellent verbal and written communication and quantitative critical thinking skills. 

  • Strong attention to detail and problem solver. 

  • Ability to multi-task across a variety of projects, departments and timelines and work cross-functionally and collaboratively. 

  • Experience with Microsoft Excel. 

  • Intellectual curiosity and willingness to learn.  

  • Must pass a ten (10) year background check and pre-employment drug test.  

  • Legally eligible to work in the country in which the position is located.  

Preferred Experience and Qualifications: 

  • Two (2) years financial planning & analysis, pricing and/or other analytical experience. 

  • Proficiency with data visualization tools such as Google Data Studio, Microsoft BI or Tableau.

  • Regular attendance and punctuality. 

  • Potential need to work flexible hours and be available to respond on short-notice. 

  • Well-groomed and able to maintain a professional appearance. 

  • When working or traveling on JetBlue flights, and if time permits, all capable crewmembers are asked to assist with light cleaning of the aircraft.
