Senior Analyst Benefits

 

Position Summary

This Benefits Senior Analyst supports all aspects of benefits programs, budgeting, and communications.  The Senior Analyst provides the Benefits teams with monthly evaluations of program efficacy and create a roadmap to achieve goals. The Senior Analyst has the primary responsibility for Business Partner management, services as a liaison between teams, leadership and Crewmembers to ensure programs are communicated effectively, and engagement strategies are executed efficiently to promote all Benefits.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive analysis inclusive of member engagement, healthcare claims, communication tactics
  • Identify and recommend engagement opportunities and initiatives
  • Develop dashboard reports and conduct ad-hoc reporting on Crewmember behavior
  • Leverage best practices in behavior change to influence communications strategy
  • Prepares ad hoc analyses and presentations for external conferences and internal leadership announcements
  • Work closely with wellness, retirement and leave management work groups to promote initiatives and measure success
  • Mentor and assists Benefits analysts with reporting and communciations work
  • All other duties as assigned

Minimum Experience and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Three (3) years analytical experience
  • Proficient with the Microsoft Office suite, extensive Excel experience and multi-media communication channels
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills
  • Pass a ten (10) year background check  and pre-employment drug test 
  • Must be legally eligible to work in the country in which the position is located

Preferred Experience and Qualifications

  • CEBS or PHR certification

     Crewmember Expectations:

  • Regular attendance and punctuality
  • Potential need to work flexible hours and be available to respond on short-notice
  • Well groomed and able to maintain a professional appearance
  • When working or traveling on JetBlue flights, and if time permits, all capable crewmembers are asked to assist with light cleaning of the aircraft
  • Must be an appropriate organizational fit for the JetBlue culture, that is, exhibit the JetBlue values of Safety, Caring, Integrity, Passion and Fun
  • Promote JetBlue’s #1 value of safety as a Safety Ambassador, supporting JetBlue’s Safety Management System (SMS) components, Safety Policy and behavioral standards
  • Identify safety and/or security concerns, issues, incidents or hazards that should be reported and report them whenever possible and by any means necessary including JetBlue’s confidential reporting systems (Aviation Safety Action Program (ASAP) or Safety Action Report (SAR))
