Position Summary:

This Analyst Benefits supports all aspects of benefits programs and develops reporting metrics tied to Customer Service and Leave Management.  This Analyst provides the Benefits team with monthly evaluations on the different areas trending and efficiency explanations. The Analyst has the primary responsibility for overall Business Partner management and serves as a liaison between teams for data.  This Analyst ensure that the Benefits Team remains compliant with all governmental regulations including but not limited to the IRS and the Affordable Care Act.    

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive analysis inclusive of claims, financials and customer service productivity
  • Identify and recommend efficiency opportunities and initiatives
  • Develop dashboard reports trends
  • Prepares ad hoc reporting and analyses including contributing data and spreadsheet preparation
  • Work closely with Team Leader, Benefits to develop trend models and update  assumptions
  • Maintain and coordinate bi-weekly reporting meetings on efficiencies between internal Customer Service team and external BlueCarpet Team
  • Data gathering and analysis for workgroups in areas of leave management, health & welfare and retirement
  • Conduct regular internal audits to ensure compliance in all regulatory areas
  • Develop defined and measurable metrics of success for  Business Partners network
  • Other duties as assigned            

Minimum Experience and Qualifications:     

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management, Human Resources or related field
  • Two (2) years analytical experience in data consolidation, programming
  • Prior experience with HRIS systems
  • Proficient with the Microsoft Office suite and extensive Excel experience
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills
  • Pass a ten (10) year background check  and pre-employment drug test 
  • Available for occasional overnight travel
  • Legally eligible to work in the country in which the position is located

Preferred Experience and Qualifications:

  • Masters of Business Administration (MBA) or Actuarial Certification
  • Three (3) years analytical experience in data consolidation, programming
  • CEBS or PHR certification

  • Potential need to work and travel flexible hours and be available to respond on short-notice
  • Well-groomed and able to maintain a professional appearance
  • When working or traveling on JetBlue flights, and if time permits, all capable crewmembers are asked to assist with light cleaning of the aircraft
